In order to ensure the safety of bridges, the Panyu Marine Department has recently taken a series of measures to strengthen the safety supervision of ultra-high ships in its jurisdiction.

On January 10, the Panyu Marine Department launched an on-site patrol, paying special attention to the supervision and inspection of ultra-high ships and safety reminders. Law enforcement officers carried out a detailed special inspection on two "Yueqing Yuangong XXX" ships equipped with belt conveyors to prevent the ships from touching the bridge. The inspection focused on the status of the ship's key equipment, the crew's familiarity with the navigation safety content, and issued the "Safety Notice of Ship Crossing Bridge" to the crew. At the same time, the inspection of the barge operation engineering vessel was also completed to ensure that it complies with the relevant regulations.

Special inspections. In addition to on-site inspections, the Panyu Marine Department also carried out "one-to-one" safety reminders for 17 ultra-high ships in the jurisdiction through high-frequency communication, ** and WeChat working groups. These reminders include paying attention to the safety of navigation in the waters of the bridge area, accurately grasping the bridge clearance height and the clearance height of the ship, so as to ensure that there is sufficient safety margin. At the same time, the relevant production authorities are also urged to strictly review the navigation plan and ensure that the safety measures when passing through the bridge waters are effectively implemented.
