In the 70s of the last century, Vietnam claimed that the two regions of our country were Vietnamese territory. In the Western Han Dynasty, it was controlled by Zhao Tuo's Nanyue State, Zhao Tuo was originally a Qin general, but after the fall of the Qin Dynasty, Zhao Tuo declared independence and established the Nanyue State, which was based on the Liangguang region at that time, and its sphere of influence covered almost the entire Vietnamese region.
Therefore, it is not difficult to conclude that the history of Vietnam is deeply influenced by our country, and it can be said that the history and culture of Vietnam originated from our country.
The Nanyue Kingdom and the Western Han Dynasty fell during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty, after which most of Vietnam was under the jurisdiction of the Han Dynasty.
It was not until the Northern Song Dynasty more than a thousand years later that Vietnam broke away from the jurisdiction of the Central Plains Dynasty, but it remained a vassal state of the Central Plains Dynasty. During the Ming Dynasty, the entire territory of Vietnam was briefly under the jurisdiction of the Ming Dynasty.
At that time, there was a coup d'état within the Vietnamese royal court, and Ming Chengzu Zhu Di sent 300,000 troops to quell the Vietnamese rebellion, and set up the Jiaozhi political envoy, so that the Vietnamese region became a province under the jurisdiction of the Central Plains Dynasty again, but later for various reasons, Vietnam was separated again and became a vassal state.
It is not difficult to see from history that Vietnam and China have always been inextricably linked, and Vietnam's development is inseparable from China's help, but since the sixties and seventies of the last century, an anti-China upsurge has gradually emerged in Vietnam.
They began to deny the true history of their country, refused to admit the historical fact that they were once a vassal state of China or even China's territory, fabricated their own history, and not only that, but Vietnam even claimed that China's Liangguang region was once their territory.
As soon as these remarks came out, not only did the Chinese people be shocked, but even in Vietnam, there were many voices that did not believe it, in fact, when we see this, we will raise a question, what is the reason why Vietnam has begun to deny relations with China after a thousand years?
Speaking of this problem, I think there should be two factors, one is the external environment and the other is the internal factor. Let's start with external factors.
Since the end of the Qing Dynasty, Vietnam has become a French colony, and the Qing Dynasty at that time has been too busy to take care of itself, even if Vietnam has asked for help several times, the Qing Dynasty has no power to pull brothers anymore, and Vietnam has since been convenient for the Qing Dynasty to sever the suzerainty relationship.
It was not until the end of World War II that Vietnam was finally able to become independent, but the international situation at that time had already been turned upside down, the United States had become the global hegemon at that time, and New China had just been founded.
After World War II, Vietnam's military strength grew rapidly with the support of the United States, and in the eyes of Vietnam, they were already "the third military power in the world".
So under this kind of self-vanity, Vietnam began to deny history, wantonly adapted its own history, in an attempt to create their history of independence and de-sinicization, coupled with the influence of Western countries, Vietnam's anti-Chinese sentiment has become more and more high.
Then there is the historical reason, which can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty, when Vietnam had already developed the concept of being equal to China, but its internal coup d'état led to the Ming Dynasty army crushing the border, and eventually turned Vietnam into a province of the Ming Dynasty.
In the eyes of the Ming Dynasty, this was just a lesson for the disobedient little brother, but in the hearts of the Vietnamese people, the seeds of the invaders were planted, and the Ming Dynasty general Zhang Fu was stationed in Vietnam for a long time, which further intensified the rebellious psychology of the Vietnamese people, even if the Ming Dynasty's actions were out of good intentions.
And as time went on, the call for this rebellion in Vietnam became louder and louder, and the cost of Ming rule in Vietnam became more and more expensive, in this case, the Ming Dynasty had to choose to withdraw its troops and make Vietnam independent again.
This historical entanglement also caused a rift between China and Vietnam, and by the Qing Dynasty, Vietnam had been experiencing turmoil in Vietnam, until the Nguyen family unified the whole of Vietnam with the help of the French and established a dynasty.
But at this time, the relationship between Vietnam and the Qing Dynasty began to become complicated, when some Vietnamese nobles fled to the Guangxi area of our country because of the war, asking for the protection of the Qing **, this incident also made the relationship between the Qing ** and Vietnam delicate.
It was not until the Nguyen dynasty was unified, and he was a vassal to the Qing Dynasty and obtained the title of "Vietnam", that Sino-Vietnamese relations were on the right track again. In the following period, Vietnam has been waging a war against the invaders and for national independence with the help of our country.
In fact, it is not difficult for us to find that China has always played an extremely important role in the history of Vietnam's development, and Vietnam has also been influenced by China, and the two are more like a kind of interdependence, but with the development of history, Sino-Vietnamese relations have become more and more complex, which is caused by a variety of factors.
When Vietnam declared its independence, in order to get rid of China's influence on it, it chose Latin as its official language, and even tried its best to remove Chinese elements, which shows its disapproval of historical facts.
Conclusion: In the 70s of the last century, Vietnam claimed that China's Liangguang region was once Vietnamese territory, which was nothing more than a need for a political game, and they tried to intensify their domestic anti-China needs through this statement, so as to consolidate their own rule and obtain more benefits from the outside.
This disregard for history by the Vietnamese leadership is nothing more than an attempt to increase their political leverage, but this will only backfire, exacerbate the contradictions with China, and affect the development of the country.
However, on the whole, the relationship between China and Vietnam has been changing over time, but no matter how it develops, it cannot be separated from the fact that Vietnam's development cannot be separated from China's, and once it lacks China's support, Vietnam's development will be difficult to move forward.
