Visit the former residence of General Sun Weiru
On the day before the National Day, the autumn breeze is not dry, the autumn is high and refreshing, because there is something to go to Lintong, so I decided to go to Baqiao Gap to see. When I opened the map, I saw that the village of Huokou was next to National Highway 108, so I had this idea.
Huokou Village is a big fort with a long history in the eastern suburbs of Xi'an, and there has been a celebrity here, he is the chairman of Shaanxi Province and the second-level general of the army, General Sun Weiru, known as "Chang'an Lengwa".
This is an article about Huokou Village in Xi'an. Huokou Village is one of the earliest ancient villages in the east of Xi'an City, and its name comes from the meaning of Hanyukou in Hongqing Mountain.
The people in the village are mainly engaged in farming, and the folk customs are simple and fierce. Although Huokou Village is very famous, it is not high-profile, hidden on the side of the road, and only after the opening of National Highway 108 will more people know about its existence.
The article describes the bustling bazaars and schools in Huokou Village, as well as the quiet rural life of the villagers.
Passing through the narrow village road, there is not a single superfluous person in sight. However, there is a small two-story building in the ** style, which is located in a red brick building, which is particularly conspicuous.
There is a plaque of "the former residence of General Sun Weiru" hanging on the doorway, which can definitely be regarded as a "western-style building" in the village. However, the gate is locked and cannot be entered. I wanted to ask passers-by in the village, but I couldn't meet anyone.
Is everyone rushing to the market? When I returned to the market, I saw a man selling meat, who was holding a cigarette in his mouth, presumably an old resident. When I came forward to ask, he told me: "The key is in the village committee, just cross the road." ”
As he spoke, his thick Qin accent came to his face. "Okay, no Mada. I responded to him with an authentic Qin accent. Sure enough, after crossing National Highway 108, there is the village committee.
It is estimated that the national highway divides the village into two halves, making it difficult for people on this half and that side to meet. At the village council, I met someone who was settling accounts. After hearing about my situation, he enthusiastically gave me a **, saying that the key was with Wang Xiangru.
I called ** and found that it was Wang Xiangling, the deputy director of the village women's director. She told me she was at the door. After the meeting, the beautiful and generous Director Wang accompanied me to visit the former residence of General Sun.
The villagers are very hospitable and will be warmly received by anyone who comes to visit. Unlike other celebrity homes, this door is too shabby to be pried open with a screwdriver.
If those words were removed, no one would think that this was a celebrity residence. Standing in front of the door, you can see a small two-story building with gray bricks to the top, wooden and glass windows, small at the bottom and large at the top.
The door of the old residence is located on the west side of the second floor, push open the heavy and mottled wooden door, enter the courtyard, and find that the inside and outside are all gray brick buildings from brick to the top, all of which are antique buildings, brick and wood 2 floors, the front building is placed in a corridor, and the bottom floor of the back building is a bright and two dark structure.
There are two-storey wings on the west side of the courtyard, the back building is in the north, all are mahogany columns, wooden vase-shaped stairs, heavy, generous, magnificent, the stairs are not visible, and the stairs should be swirled up indoors.
On the east side of the courtyard, there is a four-season green tree that is full of height, and under the tree are a few bushes of dwarf shrubs, which are verdant and vibrant. The courtyard is paved with gray bricks, and no dust can be seen. Although these things don't seem to be worth much now, if they are placed in the ** year, they should be a proper big family.
However, to say that he has been a provincial chairman, these buildings are very shabby. However, these buildings are more in line with the architectural style of rural Guanzhong.
Stepping through the door of the house, I was fascinated by the architectural style in front of me. The whole former residence is mainly a brick and wood structure, with blue bricks and green tiles, white and gray joints, wooden floors, and rust-red inlaid glass doors and windows.
Particularly striking is the staircase of the "corner tower", which resembles a small wild goose pagoda staircase, made of wooden planks, and has to turn around the four corners to go up to the second floor. As soon as I entered the front building, I saw a large hall, which was supposed to be used for reception.
There was a small room on the east side of the hall, probably where the doorman rested. Now, ** has turned these two places into places of patriotic education. The hall was empty, with only grinning wooden floors and no other decorations.
In the small room, there are several display boards with various deeds of General Sun. Walking up the stairs to the second floor, I saw that the layout was exactly the same as the first floor, and the purpose was probably the same.
Since it is now used in the same way as the first floor, the hall on the second floor is also empty, and the small room on the east side is filled with miscellaneous items. The paint on the floor is no longer visible red, only the walls can still see the original red.
It is said that this former residence was built in 1944 and is the former residence of Commander-in-Chief Sun Weiru. He decided to repair the old house and go home to serve his mother after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.
However, Adjutant Zhang misunderstood what he meant, and instead of repairing the old house, he built a two-story corner building, which is very rare in the countryside. Therefore, the common people call it "Western-style building".
Walking out of the front building and standing in the brick courtyard, I looked at the tall and slightly dilapidated two-story red building in front of me, and I couldn't help but feel a little emotional. I think it must have been very grand when it was first built, but the tree in the yard was a little strange, and this kind of shrub was generally not planted in the courtyard in the rural areas of Guanzhong.
It is estimated that this is a late planting. Chairman Wang looked at me and shook his head, so he told me that this former residence also has the South Mansion, which was built in 1927. It is said that in May 1949, when Xi'an was just liberated, Sun Weiru's family temporarily lived in Shanghai, and the old house in his hometown was only guarded by two widowed women.
The western half of the south house was given to the poor middle peasants, and the people of Baqiao District, who had just been established, were stationed in the corner building on the second floor of the north courtyard. It is said that Sun Xiaowu, the head of the People's ** District of Baqiao District at that time, was Sun Weiru's brother and a man who followed him to fight against Japan in Zhongtiao Mountain.
We first went up to the west side of the wing, stepped on the eaves of the porch, the two wings lined up, filled with display boards, the content is full of anecdotes of General Sun in various periods and heroic deeds of resistance against Japan.
Standing on the corridor on the second floor, I really saw the true face of the "western-style building" on the second floor. From the corner building on the west side, from the north side to the south house, and then from the south side to the upper room at the back, I feel that the whole courtyard is built very chic.
This former residence, which was built in the 40s of the 20th century, was the former residence of General Sun Weiru and the office of General Yang Hucheng's chairman of Shaanxi Province. At that time, the Xi'an Revolutionary Army assisted General Sun to take to the streets in the year of the outbreak of the Wuchang Uprising, and Sun Weiru entered the military circle and became a descendant of General Yang Hucheng.
General Sun Weiru once married Jin Lan with Yang Hucheng and Feng Qinzai, Feng Qinzai was the eldest brother, Yang Hucheng was the second, and Sun Weiru was the third brother, and since then it has been a covenant of life and death. After the Xi'an Incident, Yang Hucheng was removed from his official position in 1943 and stripped of his military power and rank.
But General Sun Weiru did not give up, he was ordered by Yang Hucheng to entrust the rest of the 17th Route Army, and reduced the remaining troops to the 38th Army, with Sun Weiru as the commander, and there were still some Shaanxi generals around him.
Later, Yang Hucheng was forced to go abroad for inspection, and Sun Weiru took over the Shaanxi army and served as the chairman of Shaanxi Province at the same time. Yang Hucheng believes that Sun Weiru is "deep and steady, scheming, generous and gentle, eclectic, entrusted with heavy responsibilities, and should not be dishonored".
General Sun Wei really lived up to the trust, this Chang'an Lengwa who walked out of Huokou Village, Baqiao, Xi'an, in the War of Resistance Against Japan, galloped across the battlefield, immediately hit the bar, resisted the Japanese invaders, and finally accepted the command knife handed by the Japanese surrender as the commander of the Sixth Theater of Operations, and raised the prestige of our Shaanxi army.
In the second year of the all-out Anti-Japanese War, Sun Weiru resigned as the chairman of Shaanxi Province and served as the commander of the 31st Army Corps, and went to the anti-Japanese battlefield in Zhongtiao Mountain. Zhongtiao Mountain is located in the south of Shanxi Province, stretching for 200 kilometers, not only the natural barrier on the north bank of the Yellow River, but also the support for the west out of Guanzhong and the south to the west of Henan, and its strategic position is very important.
In the autumn of that year, the 31st Army was reorganized into the Fourth Army, under the jurisdiction of the 1st Army.
Three. Ten. In the 8th and 96th Army, Sun Weiru served as the commander-in-chief of the group army, and in the more than two years of defending Zhongtiao Mountain, the officers and men of Shaanxi successively smashed the Japanese offensive 11 times, and was known as the "iron pillar of Zhongtiao Mountain".
General Sun made two major achievements in his lifetime. First, he successfully resisted the invasion of the Japanese invaders and defended the hometown of Guanzhong. In the Battle of Mt. Nakajo, he used nearly 2 3 men ** (killed 210,000) to block the Japanese army, his heroic deeds are still praised by people today.
In addition, he wrote "Man Jianghong. Zhongtiao Mountain Anti-Japanese "poem, the words are full of tragic feelings and the determination of the whole army. Second, in his capacity as the commander of the Kuomintang's Sixth Theater of Operations, he accepted the surrender of 210,000 Japanese troops invading China in Wuhan.
His solemn and awe-inspiring image deeply moved people. Today, an old house in Zhongshan Park in Wuhan City, where General Sun accepted the surrender of the Japanese army, hangs his inscription.
In the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Shaanxi people were not absent, and all the soldiers in Shaanxi were cold babies, not afraid of death, and brave and good at fighting. The former residence of General Sun Weiru shows the tradition of Qindi and the martial spirit of simple folk customs, heroic and fierce, tough style, and daring to fight and win.
The spirit of Leng Wa represented by General Sun Weiru is the continuation and inheritance of the spirit of the Qin people.
We have lost so much, only the superficial glossy and false remain. It seems to be powerful, but in fact it is empty inside. Once these inner things are lost, it may take generations of effort to recover.
