2. Low safety factorAlthough the open flame pressure cooker has a safety valve, it also has a fatal weakness, that is, the lid. You may also know that the lid of an open flame pressure cooker needs to be tightened, if it is not tightened enough, or if it is screwed too tightly, it will affect the tightness of the pot, causing the pressure to be unstable, and even leaking or bursting. Moreover, the lid of an open flame pressure cooker does not have a locking mechanism, so if you accidentally touch it, or if a child is playing nearby, you may open the lid and cause burns or other injuries. 
3. Not smart enoughAn open flame pressure cooker can only control the heat and time on your own, and if you are not familiar with its characteristics, it is easy to overcook or undercook. Also, the open-flame pressure cooker doesn't have any display or tone, and if you forget it's on the stove, you risk waste or danger. Not to mention, the open-flame pressure cooker doesn't have any reservation or heat preservation functions, so if you want to prepare a meal in advance, or if you want to eat a hot meal, you can only stare dryly. 
Having said all that, you may already understand why I chose to switch to an electric pressure cooker in the end. Because, after switching to an electric pressure cooker, my experience was so refreshing that it made me feel that an open flame pressure cooker was simply a product of the last century.

The electric pressure cooker is heated by electricity, you just need to put the ingredients and water in it, press a button, and you can do other things with peace of mind without worrying about the water drying out or the pressure is too high. The electric pressure cooker automatically adjusts the temperature and pressure to ensure the taste and nutrition of the food. You also don't have to worry about forgetting to turn off the power, the electric pressure cooker will automatically power off, avoiding waste and danger. 
You can schedule a timer, and you can also automatically relieve pressure. The electric pressure cooker has a very smart function, that is, you can set an appointment time, let you prepare the meal in advance, and when the specified time, the electric pressure cooker will automatically start working, so that you can go home and eat a hot meal. Moreover, the electric pressure cooker also has an automatic pressure relief function, when the food is cooked, the electric pressure cooker will automatically release the pressure in the pot, so that you don't have to wait, and you don't have to worry about being burned when you open the lid. 
It's safer. Electric pressure cookers have many safety protection measures, such as anti-dry boiling, automatic pressure relief when the pressure is too high, automatic power off, and so on. Moreover, the lid of the electric pressure cooker has a locking device, so if you accidentally touch it, or if there are children playing nearby, the lid will not be opened, causing burns or other injuries.

The electric pressure cooker has a very user-friendly design, that is, there is a display screen and some buttons, so that you can clearly see the temperature, pressure, time and other information in the pot, and you can also easily select different menus and modes, such as meat, soup, porridge, steaming, claypot rice and so on. The electric pressure cooker also has a keep warm feature that keeps your meals warm and ready to enjoy. Moreover, the cleaning of the electric pressure cooker is also very simple, you only need to remove the lid and inner tank, rinse it with water, and you can do it.
