In order to thoroughly implement the thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, implement the requirements of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on improving the volunteer service system and work system, further innovate the form of women's volunteer service incentives, and normalize the development of women's volunteer service, the Beijing Women's Federation carried out the selection and release of the women's volunteer service star list in the city.

Dongsi Street Douban Community Zhou Fuying
Zhou Fuying is a women's volunteer and watchman volunteer in the Douban community. Whether she is on duty at the gate of the community or on duty on the second ring road, she consciously abides by discipline, strictly follows the regulations, and does not be late, leave early, or leave her post. Especially on duty on the Second Ring Road, she obeyed orders, obeyed commands, dressed neatly, was full of energy, and carefully inspected the surroundings for abnormal conditions. From September 1 to September 7, 2023, when the Conference on Trade in Services was held in Beijing, on the afternoon of the 2nd, when Zhou Fuying was about to be laid off along the Second Ring Road, the same group of people found an elderly man sitting in a wheelchair, walking back and forth by the side of the lane, which was very unsafe. They came forward to inquire and found out that the old man had lost his way and could not find a home. She and her colleagues pushed the old man to a safe place, and contacted the old man's son to inform him to come to pick him up and go home, and the old man was very excited and said, "There are still a lot of good people"! Zhou Fuying believes that as a volunteer, it is her duty to dedicate love, care for the elderly, help people in need, and serve the society by her own actions, and she will continue to work hard in the future to strive for better.
Gymnasium Road Street Four Jade Community Ye Jianping
Ye Jianping retired in 2005 and worked in the Sibianyu community in the stadium road street after retirement, and left the Shuangyu South Street community in 2011. After retirement, he has been involved in community volunteer activities, and the four jade communities belong to a typical old community, with a relatively high degree of aging, with more than 2,300 elderly people aged 60 and above, and many of them are elderly people living alone with inconvenient legs and feet. Ye Jianping thought that he had the skills of hairdressing, and set up a service team for the elderly to solve the problem of haircuts for the elderly who are inconvenient to travel in the jurisdiction, which not only makes it convenient for the elderly, but also saves them a haircut fee. Her idea was not only recognized by the community, but also responded to two residents, Xia Ling and Guo Xiurong, who also knew how to cut hair, and then five enthusiastic residents also joined in, "Although we don't know how to get a haircut, we support Sister Ye, sweep the floor, clean up the tools, we can do it, in short, we will do whatever this team needs us to do!" In this way, the "Four Jade New Energy Volunteer Service Team" was established. Every month, Ye Jianping takes volunteers to visit 15 courtyards in the jurisdiction to give door-to-door haircuts for the elderly and disabled people with reduced mobility, and at the same time, four pieces of jade hyacinth Leifeng volunteer service will be carried out every quarter to provide voluntary haircuts, voluntary sewing and other volunteer services for the elderly in the jurisdiction.
Temple of Heaven Street Yongding Gate Inner Community Fang Changzhi
Fang Changzhi is a resident of the Yongdingmen community in the Temple of Heaven Street, she is enthusiastic about community public welfare undertakings, and has enthusiastically participated in various volunteer service projects since her retirement.
Fang Changzhi is not only a volunteer but also the head of the community building, and she actively participates in community governance and maintains community safety in her spare time. In addition to the community patrol on weekdays, she actively signed up for the community watch post duty at every major meeting and holiday, and still stuck to her post rain or shine. Fang Changzhi is enthusiastic about public welfare, unites neighbors, often participates in various activities organized by the community, is a rare woman volunteer in the community, often helps the vulnerable groups in the community, the elderly and the disabled in the community have big and small affairs, are willing to ask Fang Changzhi to help, everyone agrees that she is intimate and meticulous, patient, and can soothe the emotions of the elderly. If there are difficult neighborhood conflicts in the community to handle complaints, the neighborhood committee will also ask Fang Changzhi to help coordinate and solve them, and every time she is enthusiastic to help mediate and contribute her own efforts.
Voluntary service organizations
East Fourth Street, Eight Communities, Warm Heart Gang
Since its establishment in July 2014, with the support of the District Women's Federation, the Street Women's Federation and other organizations at all levels, and under the guidance of the Batiao Community Party Committee, the "Warm Heart Gang" has been continuously exploring and practicing for the elderly, so that the elderly in need of help in the community have something to rely on, carry forward the traditional Chinese virtues of "respecting, loving and helping the elderly", create a harmonious community environment, and promote the work of party building more deeply. It has built a characteristic brand of party building, achieved good results, and won a number of honors at the national, municipal and district levels. At present, there are 23 members of the Warm Heart Gang, 5 party members, the oldest member is 76 years old, the youngest is 58 years old, and the average age is 70 years old. Through the form of volunteer service for the elderly and neighborhood mutual assistance, the ability of volunteers is brought into full play and a support network for mutual help is established in the community. At present, the community has helped 2 people and 23 elderly people.
The service team is divided into groups to regularly go into the home every week to help the elderly and contact them, chat with them, repair faucets, change gas, buy medicine and other things within their ability, contact the hospital for the two accurate elderly people, and push the elderly to see a doctor and catch medicine, so that the elderly feel warm care and love. Every year in the "Little Year" of the lunar calendar, dumplings are made for the elderly, and they are given their own zongzi during the Dragon Boat Festival. The Chung Yeung Festival gathers with the elderly to promote the virtue of respecting and helping the elderly. Carry out 4 handmade and 4 empowerment trainings to welcome the "July 1st Red Heart to the Party" and filigree intangible cultural heritage culture. While volunteering, the Women's Volunteer Service Team of the Warm Heart Gang also actively participated in community self-governance construction such as weekend cleaning days, alley environmental management, leaf sweeping, snow and ice shoveling. The Warm Heart Gang used their practical actions to show the glorious image of women volunteers and promote the volunteer spirit of women volunteers.
