2.Quantity Selection:

For tanks with feet installed, the number of weigh modules is determined based on the number of legs, and in general, several sensors are selected for several legs. If it is a newly installed container, if it is a cylindrical container placed vertically, it is more stable with a three-point support. If the influence of wind, shaking, vibration and other influences is considered, it is advisable to use four-point support. Containers placed horizontally should be supported by four points.

3.Range Selection:

Fixed load (weighing platform, batching tank, etc.) Variable load (load to be weighed) Select sensor rated load The number of sensors equipped is 70, of which the coefficient of 70 is added considering vibration, shock and eccentric load factors (you can consult the sales staff to select the model for you).

4.Tank weighing system installation form (part):

Because the tank load cell is installed outside the tank, it outperforms other measurement methods for corrosive, high-temperature, frozen, poor-flowing or non-self-leveling materials. The measurement results are not affected by tank shape, load cell material or process parameters such as temperature or material viscosity.

According to the load size, shape and site conditions of the container, the installation method is mainly divided into two categories:

Pressurized weigh modules: Tanks or other structures are mounted above weigh modules.

Tension weigh module: A tank or other structure is suspended underneath the weigh module.

Tension weigh modules, also known as hanging container scales. It is generally suitable for small loads (e.g. 50 kg to 5 tons), and the installation site should have a steel frame that can be supported by a boom. At this time, a limiting lever must be arranged between the container and the surrounding fixed frame to prevent the container from moving. For large-load weighing, the use of hanging structure is bound to cause the frame structure to be too large and labor-intensive, so pressure weigh modules are used in most occasions.

Tips: Strain gauge load cell protection rating:

P65: The exposed surface of the beam should be sealed with glue, and any splash in a short period of time will not harm the sensor.

IP66: The cover plate is sealed with glue and filled with glue. Strong water sprayed from any direction in a short period of time will not harm the sensor.

IP67: Cover plate welding sealing, internal glue potting treatment, waterproof, oil-proof, general anti-corrosion. Immersion in water at the specified pressure and time will not harm the sensor.

IP68: The sealing method is specially treated according to the use environment, and it can be submerged for a long time without damaging the sensor!
