How do I keep my kitchen clean?

My kitchen isn't particularly clean, but it's okay, and I've had some experience in this area, at least my kitchen is much cleaner than my mom and mother-in-law.

1. The ground is moisture-proof

Generally, the kitchen floor will be paved with floor tiles, like my home and the current rented house The floor tiles are very slippery as soon as they are wet, and they are easy to fall (I really fell in the kitchen), and after the dampness, the feet will be stained with dirt and the ground will become dirty elsewhere, so the moisture prevention of the kitchen floor is the first part of kitchen cleaning.

This is the kitchen floor of the house where I currently live, and I bought two diatom mud cushions and spread them on the floor in front of the sink and stove. These two places are the easiest to run down the water, and they can basically keep the ground dry when placed here.

Diatom mud cushions absorb water very well and are sufficient. By the way, the floor of my bathroom exit is also covered with such diatom mud cushions to absorb water and prevent slipping.

Second, convenient trash cans

Be sure to have the right trash can for the kitchen. I've seen the kind of cupboard-high trash can that can be pushed around, and that feels great. But because I already have a wall-mounted trash can at home, I'm not happy to buy it again.

The wall-mounted type is a trash can that hangs on the cabinet door, which can be hung on any door panel, but relatively speaking, it is hung next to the sink and has the highest usage rate.

Whether it's pouring the residue from the bowl into the trash can, or throwing away the rotten leaves when washing vegetables, the trash can is very convenient and handy, and it is not easy to fall in other places to increase the cleaning workload.

Of course, in addition to this trash can, I also have one on the floor and on the other side of the cupboard, so that I can throw out the garbage wherever I work in the kitchen. And it's easier to move, so you can pick up trash next to the countertop at any time.

3. Other small things to keep neat and tidy

Other ways to keep it tidy are to make some small storage on the walls, hang up gloves and so on.

There are also drain baskets and rags, pot brushes, sponge brush storage racks, etc., which can be placed on the edge of the sink for easy use and can also prevent water droplets from dripping elsewhere. The elderly like to hang rags on the faucet or the sink, I don't like that, these storage shelves are more neat and easy to use.

Then there's another important point to be sure to prepare kitchen paper and hand towels.

In the process of cooking, it is easy for my hands to touch greasy, and it will be very inconvenient to run to the bathroom to wash my hands with hand sanitizer at this time, and I don't want to wash my hands with dish soap, so my approach is to wipe my hands with kitchen paper and then touch other things, so that I don't touch greasy everywhere. And this is generally used in places that are not particularly greasy, so kitchen paper is sufficient.

When I have to make a greasy dish (or I need to get my hands dirty), I just wear disposable food-grade rubber gloves to cook, but in order to squeeze the value of it as much as possible, I don't throw it away when I'm done with the greasy, I wear gloves and wash it with dish soap and continue to use it until the meal is finished, and sometimes even throw it away after eating and cleaning up the kitchen.

That way, the kitchen won't feel greasy everywhere.

Fourth, storage

Finally, try to keep things as small as possible on the countertop, and store things in the cabinet door as much as possible to make it look neat. My principle is to put the common appliances on the countertop, and the heavy kitchen appliances are also on the countertop, because I have a lot of such appliances in my house, so it looks a little cramped, but I also do my best.

That's what I learned about keeping my kitchen clean.
