Zhou Tongxiang is a native of Wuwei, Gansu Province, located in the Hexi Corridor, which was an important town on the Silk Road and an important historical and cultural city. When I came to Lanzhou to work at the beginning of that year, I heard the oral tradition of "Jin Zhangye, Yin Wuwei", but Wuwei was still a very poor place at that time. Appreciating Zhou Tongxiang's flower and bird paintings, I feel fresh and refined, bright and healthy, and pleasant. At an exhibition of the National Academy of Painting, I saw a pomegranate tree work, the red is the pomegranate, the emerald green leaves, is the technique of fine brushwork, and the tree and branches are written with a strong writing taste of ink lines.
