Zhang Xudong, a native of Shenyang, Liaoning Province, was born in February 1968, known as Yizhu and Yougu Jushi, engaged in enterprise management. He is now a member of Beijing Qufeng Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
Since childhood, he has loved calligraphy and painting, loves Hanmo, and has never stopped studying daily. In 1983, he entered the Beijing Correspondence University of Painting and Calligraphy, focusing on landscapes, flowers and birds. On the basis of inheriting the essence of famous paintings, he has dabbled widely, carefully selected, carefully comprehended, and deeply excavated, and created a number of high-grade, high-quality landscapes, flowers and birds, figures and other Chinese painting works, which have extremely high artistic value, and are loved by peer experts and collectors. In terms of calligraphy, he is known for his cursive writing.
He has participated in many calligraphy and painting related activities and won awards. Among them: participated in the first "Danqing Cup" National Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition in 2020 and won the fourth prize, participated in the 2020 "Pride of Heaven" National Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Art Dazhai won the Creative Award, participated in the 2020 "National Quintessence Kyushu Oriental Bright Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition and won the Excellence Award, participated in the 2021 Hanmo Baijia "Kyushu Quintessence Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition and won the Excellence Award, and participated in the 8th "Qianqiu Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition in 2024 and won the third prize.
