Recently, the School of Marxism of our university organized more than 120 students to come to the Military Museum to carry out the practical teaching of "Outline of Modern Chinese History", and organize ritual education such as taking the oath under the regimental flag. This is the first venue-school cooperation and co-construction activity implemented by the Chinese People's Public Security University and the Military Museum after signing the "Great Ideological and Political Course" twinning agreement. With the theme of "The Communist Party of China is the Mainstay of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression", the practical teaching is gradually carried out relying on the rich collection resources of the Military Museum. 
The teaching consists of three parts: student presentation, teacher lecture and study tour. The students first entered the multi-functional lecture hall and immersed themselves in the "Ideological and Political Lessons in the Museum" taught by Mr. Zhuge Ruiqiang. In the course of teaching, Mr. Zhuge fully explained the great sacrifices and great contributions made by the Communist Party of China in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression with detailed historical materials, ingenious comparisons, authoritative data and rich cases.

After the theme lecture, the students visited the "Revolutionary War Exhibition Led by the Communist Party of China" under the guidance of the narrator, immersed themselves in the ocean of cultural relics, face to face with historical relics, and walked into the revolutionary history of the martyrs with the simple ** of the revolutionary era as the medium, and felt the fearless revolutionary spirit and loyal faith of the martyrs.

Under the solemn atmosphere, the students took a solemn oath in front of the revolutionary sculpture and under the banner of the bright red regiment, and carried out an unforgettable ritual education.

The practical teaching activity of "Great Ideological and Political Course" effectively realizes the face-to-face between the classroom and history, the organic integration of theory and practice, and moves the ideological and political courses on campus into the museum, so that the ideological and political courses can be moved and the knowledge can be lived, so that the students can fully realize the advanced nature and purity of the Communist Party of China in the process of growing into the mainstay of the War of Resistance against Japan, and personally feel the indomitable fighting spirit and heroism of the revolutionary martyrs who are determined to serve the country and sacrifice and dedication under the strong leadership of the party. For them, this is not only an opportunity to integrate classroom knowledge with practical understanding, but also a meaningful ideological baptism and faith journey. 
In order to implement the work plan of the Ministry of Education and other ten departments to comprehensively promote the construction of "big ideological and political courses", the task deployment of the establishment of comprehensive reform pilot zones in Beijing and other five provinces (municipalities).In 2023, our university signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Military Museum of the Chinese Revolution to form a joint construction base of "Great Ideological and Political Courses", relying on the rich collections of the Military Museum to carry out "ideological and political courses in museums" is one of the important measures. For the purpose of cultivating people with virtue and win-win cooperation, the two sides will work closely and collaboratively to build an "immersive" ideological and political course practice teaching base with military and police characteristics, continue to carry out high-quality teaching and research activities, create vivid practice lesson plans in Jinghua, select and hire high-quality full-time and part-time teachers of ideological and political courses, and form a group of targeted and attractive practical teaching demonstration "golden courses".
