Formally learning dance at the age of 8, Jiang Yang showed his love for dance. But he knows that the future of dance will not be smooth. He recalled that when he was a child, because his family was poor, his parents had collected all the money to learn dance. During the five years he studied dance at the Daqing Art School in Heilongjiang Province, his parents only visited him once at the school, and his father sold blood to pay for the journey.
These hardships in the past have made the young Jiang Yang burst out with amazing perseverance and hard work again and again, and also allowed him to accumulate more flavors of life than others. Jiang Yang was not defeated by these difficulties, on the contrary, he saw them as opportunities for growth and promotion. 
Before graduating from art school, he was favored by the Guangdong Modern Dance Company. There, he developed a more solid foundation. The following year, as the youngest but up-and-coming trainee of the Guangdong Modern Dance Company, he was determined to go even further. After hard work, Jiang Yang was successfully admitted to the Choreography Department of Beijing Dance Academy. But he knows that becoming a good dancer is not an easy task. But the dance took Jiang Yang and kept jumping endlessly. He won a scholarship for four consecutive years, and when he graduated, he was not only rated as an outstanding graduate of Beijing, but also stayed in school to join the Youth Dance Troupe of Beijing Dance Academy, becoming a member of China's first-class dance troupe with academic style. On March 5, 2023, Jiang Yang as the chief director of the ballet group poem "Role Model" was successfully held at Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center. From the time he took over the project, he began to look at "Lei Feng's Diary" repeatedly, and immediately decided to abandon the traditional choreography idea, but to use Lei Feng's diary as a blueprint, select 5 diaries from it, refine 5 images, and build a text creation framework for dance group poems, and let young ballet dancers have a "dialogue" with Lei Feng across time and space through the diary in the form of ballet expression. In the end, "Role Model" presents "a ray of light", "a seed", "a drop of water", "a brick" and "a nail" in a juxtaposition structure, depicting Lei Feng's spirit of helping others, selfless dedication, and dedication. 
In recent years, Jiang Yang has also served as the dance director of Dragon TV's "Dancer", the artistic director of Hunan Satellite TV's all-dance TV variety show "Dance Storm", and the chief director of "Dancer's Peak-All-Star Gala". Jiang Yang is an extreme perfectionist. From his role as the artistic director of the first season of "Dance Storm", he has been deeply involved throughout the process.
