In 2023, Zhao Zhe, deputy chief physician of the Department of Orthopedics, won the "Tsinghua University 2022 Teaching Excellence Award", and Chao Shuang, chief physician of the Department of Pediatrics, Huang Zhenyu and Zhao Zhe, chief physicians of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, were awarded the title of "Tsinghua University 2023 Ideological and Political Teacher of the Course"; The first MOOC course of the School of Medicine, "Into Medicine", which was jointly attended by the three physicians, won the honors of Tsinghua University's Excellent Course, National First-class Online Excellent Course, and National Excellent ** Open Course, and was nominated for the Hong Kong Greater China Excellent MOOC Course Award.
As the first enlightenment education for students to understand the mysteries of the human body, the clinical teachers of our hospital explain to students basic medical knowledge such as female physiology, the dangers of abortion, contraception, trauma first aid and common sports injuries through the series of courses "Approaching Medicine", and actively guide students to establish a scientific outlook on health and a correct outlook on life.
In the "Approaching Medicine" course, Dr. Zhao Zhe, who is in charge of the trauma first aid practice part, won the honor of "Tsinghua University Teaching Excellence Award of the Year" for the second year after 2021. The "Teaching Excellence of the Year Award" is awarded to 100 teachers each year, aiming to reward teachers who have undertaken undergraduate or graduate teaching work in the participating year, and are well received by students and peers. Dr. Zhao Zhe's "Approaching Medicine" course was rated in the top 5% of the school in the last two student evaluations.
