In the process of using biological microscopes, how to use them in the wrong way is easy to cause observation errors, so what are our general specifications? The following points are summarized:
The use of biological microscopes.
1. Adjust the appropriate seat height and microscope placement
This is very important for clinicians who need a microscope for a long time, mainly to ensure that they can feel comfortable working even if they are in good health.
Appropriate seat height: The placement of the microscope.
1) The microscope should be placed in a flat place for a long time, which does not need to be moved and not shaken, and should be kept away from centrifuges and shakers;
2) There is enough space around for slides and reference books.
2.Steps to use a biological microscope
Adjust the coarse collimation spiral, adjust the stage to the low point, turn on the light source, check the eyepiece, objective, and condenser lens, and clean if necessary;
Place the slide on the stage, fix it in the middle of the sample holder, rotate the nosepiece, and scan the observation area under the 4x objective to obtain an overall impression of the sample;
Rotate the nosepiece and aim the object at 10x objective, taking care not to rotate the objective directly;
Observe under the eyepiece, adjust the distance of the scope so that the area observed by the two-hole eyepiece is close to each other until the field of view of both eyes is the same;
Adjust the condenser, aperture, and coarse collimation helix so that the object is in focus, and rotate the fine collimation helix until the sample is clearly focused;
Convert the 40x objective lens, adjust the thickness of the quasi-focus spiral to focus the sample, and adjust the condenser and aperture to make the details more clear.
When the cell structure needs to be observed with an oil lens, the objective lens is converted to a 4x objective, the sample is focused, a drop of microscope immersion oil is added, and it is directly rotated to the 100x oil lens, and the fine focus spiral is adjusted to focus the sample, and the condenser and aperture are adjusted to make the sample observation clearer;
When you're done using it, turn off the power or turn the light down, turn the stage to a low position, rotate the 4x objective back to its original position, remove the slide, and wipe the 100x lens with lens paper if necessary.
