The rollback network** will arrive in Dragon Ball Fighter Z on February 29th, nearly two years after it was first announced. This multiplayer feature will be available via Steam, Xbox Series X|The S and PS5 versions of the game are available on PC. Updates to the current version will also be added and the game will be rendered in native 4K resolution on these platforms.
For fighting games, rolling back the web** has become an expected feature whenever a new game in the genre is released. In short, rollback networks allow for smoother performance and more seamless interactions in multiplayer, even if you're facing someone on the other side of the globe. Some of the biggest fighting games (Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat 1, and Tekken 8) take advantage of this feature to make the match smooth whether you're playing with a wired or wireless connection.
Even without the rollback network**, Dragon Ball Fighter Z has been hailed as one of the best games in the series since it first debuted on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in January 2018. If you're intimidated by fighting games, there's a good chance you'll be drawn to the sexual action and personality that subtly evokes the infectious spirit of the anime," Peter Brown wrote in a Dragon Ball Fighter Z review on Gamespot.
Last year, a new fighting game in the series was released in the form of Dragon Ball: Spark Zero (not even the final version). A continuation of Bandai Namco's long-dormant fighting franchise, Dragon Ball Z: Martial Arts Kaizenichi, Spark Zero combines the signature flashy combat of these games with a 3D arena and a cast of numerous Goku. The release date has not yet been announced, but it will be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|s and pc.
