EU artillery shells are free to aid Ukraine, Zelensky miscalculated

Zelensky needs money and ** the most now, and no one is missing. Zelensky miscalculated, and he can pay for it if he needs it, but if he wants to send it, it's not that simple.

Let's take a look at how the European Commission answers this question. The European Commission said Zelensky mistakenly believed that all EU shells would be free. EU Internal Market Commissioner Breton pointed out in an interview with ** that Zelensky said that the EU only provided Ukraine with 300,000 of the 1 million artillery shells promised. Zelensky was wrong because he didn't count that part of the shells that Ukraine had to buy on its own!

In March last year, 27 member states decided to provide 1 million rounds of artillery shells within a year. But what is being said here is ** 1 million shells, not transfers, not 1 million shells to Ukraine. Ukraine needs to make a distinction.

EU Internal Market Commissioner Breton Bao pointed out that Zelensky said that what the EU gave to Ukraine was a free transfer, but this is not the actual situation.

Bredon pointed out that there are three types of ammunition**, and gratuitous transfer is only one of them, accounting for only a small part of them. It was within the framework of this initiative that 300,000 artillery shells were transferred to Ukraine, and by the end of March this number will increase to 550,000 rounds.

But Breton added that there are two other channels. The first is that Ukraine buys shells directly from EU production bases, and Ukraine has already purchased more than 350,000 shells, that is, it has reached 900,000 rounds. Secondly, bilateral ** between certain neighbouring countries has not yet been disclosed. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and Ukraine needs to pay for equipment.

There will be no pie in the sky, Zelensky thought that the EU would be very generous and provide himself with this military aid free of charge. But discover why the EU is not motivated. Because the arms dealers want to get orders, and you must have money to get the order, and if you give me money, the arms dealers of the 27 countries of the European Union will also produce artillery shells at full capacity. But if you don't give money and wait for it to be given away, no arms dealer or country is willing to give your things to another party, and you can't earn a penny, what do you get?

This is the idea of the European Union, isn't this the idea of the United States? If the United States were not for this idea, the United States would not have signed a Lend-Lease law with Ukraine, and you need to repay the money you lease and lend to you. Ukraine must not be deceived by the false generosity of the United States and other Western countries. After all, it is Ukraine that is saved, and it should pay for it itself, so why should Western countries pay for Ukraine?
