Jia Dao, the word Langxian, self-named "Jieshishan people", a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty, and Meng Jiao are equally famous, and are called "poetry slaves" by later generations. Jia Dao's life is very poor, and he likes to carve words and sentences when he writes poems, and the artistic conception is desolate and bitter, he is good at writing five-character poems, and is known for his bitter chanting.

In the late autumn of that year, the leaves of the capital Chang'an were flying. Jia Daoyi was happy and chanted the sentence "The fallen leaves are full of Chang'an", but he couldn't get the last sentence right. While walking, he meditated hard, and accidentally collided with Jingzhao Yin Liu Qichu's guard of honor. At this moment, he suddenly had an inspiration and shouted: "The autumn wind gives birth to Weishui." Jing Zhao Yin Liu Qichu was taken aback and asked someone to arrest him and lock him up overnight.

It wasn't long before he ran into trouble again. At that time, he was pondering a poem: "The monk pushes the moon down the door", muttering "scrutiny" in his mouth, repeatedly comparing and pondering, and unconsciously broke into Han Yu's honor guard. Han Yu not only didn't get angry, but also helped him finalize the word "knock", and they have become good friends since then. This poem comes from one of his famous works, "The Secluded Residence of Li Ning".

That day, Jia Dao went to the outskirts of Chang'an City to visit a friend named Li Ning. By the time he arrived at Li Ning's residence, it was already dark. It was the dead of night, the moon was shining, and his knock at the door woke the bird in the tree. Unfortunately, Li Ning was not at home. So Jia Dao was moved and created a song "Titled Li Ning's Secluded Residence". The original text of the poem is as follows:

Idle living with few neighbors, grass paths into the deserted garden.

The bird stays in the tree by the pool, and the monk knocks on the door under the moon.

Cross the bridge to divide the wild colors, move the stones and move the cloud roots.

Coming here for the time being, the tryst is worth it.

The gist of the poem is:

Secluded in this secluded place with not many neighbors around.

An overgrown path that leads to a deserted garden.

When night comes, small birds perch on the trees by the pond.

In the bright moonlight, the monk was knocking on the wood door.

On the way back, I walked across the small bridge, and the mountain scenery was separated by the bridge, and the scenery on the other side of the bridge was charming.

The white clouds are flying, and the rocks seem to be moving.

I'm out of here for a while, but I'll be back soon.

You and I will make an appointment to go into seclusion together, and we will never break our promises when it expires.

Jia Dao's "Title Li Ning's Secluded Residence" is a five-character poem about visiting friends.

The whole poem is just an expression of such an ordinary trivial incident that he visited his friend Li Ning did not encounter. The opening chapter uses concise language to describe a quiet environment, and through the description of the friend's residence, it hints at the friend's hermit identity. Then, he described the quiet scene he saw in his eyes when he visited friends under the moon. Then, he depicts what he saw on the way back, crossing the bridge as a colorful field, with the evening breeze blowing and the clouds drifting as if the rocks were moving. Finally, express your heart and show that you live up to the promise of retreat.

The language of the whole poem is concise, simple and unpretentious, clear as words, such as homely words, peculiar penmanship, unique characteristics, mellow charm, quiet artistic conception, and the outstanding feature is that it is an ordinary scenery such as grass paths, deserted gardens, birds, pond trees, wild colors, cloud roots, etc., as well as ordinary behaviors such as idleness, knocking on doors, crossing bridges, and temporarily going, which shows the realm that people have not yet reached, and expresses their yearning for a secluded life, and at the same time, fully embodies its poetic style of "halal and secluded".

In the poem, the couplet: "The bird stays in the tree by the pool, and the monk knocks on the door under the moon" is a famous couplet through the ages, which has always been popular. It is precisely because of Jia Dao's bitter spirit of careful consideration of words, coupled with the names of "Article Jugong" and "Hundred Generations of Wenzong", ranking first among the "Eight Great Masters of the Tang and Song Dynasties", and the careful guidance of the super writer Han Yu, that there was finally an allusion to "scrutiny", which was passed down as a good story in the literary world for a while.
