In fact, no matter when, even if the days are good, we must cherish and cherish food, which is also a fine tradition of our country.
Eat three things
First, eat multigrain porridge
The 21st day of the first lunar month is the birthday of wheat, and on this day, people will use a variety of cereals to make a hearty porridge or rice, which means that the granary at home is very full, implying a bumper harvest of grains, good weather and prosperous days.
Multigrain porridge method: Before going to bed, wash corn ballast, barley, black rice, glutinous rice, millet, red kidney beans, red beans, and jujubes, pour them into the rice cooker, add water to the second knuckle of the index finger, make an appointment for the function of multigrain porridge for 2 hours, and set aside 4 hours for soaking time. When I get up early, the soft and glutinous multigrain porridge is ready, and I like to eat sweet with a little sugar.
Second, eat steamed buns.
On Wheat Day, there is a traditional custom of eating steamed buns. The implication is thriving, eating and drinking without worry.
How to make steamed bread: 500 grams of flour plus 5 grams of dry yeast and 1 spoon of sugar mix well, add water to mix the dough in parts, knead it into a smooth dough, and ferment until it is twice the size. Then knead off the large bubbles, knead into long strips, cut into equal size sections, knead into round steamed buns, and let them simmer at room temperature for 20 minutes. Bring to a boil on high heat, steam for 20 minutes.
Three, eat cabbage
On Wheat's birthday, there is a traditional custom of eating "cabbage". Cabbage is a rich vegetable rolled in a pancake, which means that the family's grain hoarding warehouse is full, the grains are abundant, and the life is rich and beautiful.
Cabbage method: add water and salt to the flour and stir it into a batter that can flow, scoop it into the electric baking pan and spread it flat, bake it for 2 minutes, and the pancakes are ready, and all the pancakes are baked in turn. Add vegetable oil to the wok, add chopped green onion and peppercorn noodles and stir-fry until fragrant, pour in shredded potatoes and carrots, stir-fry over high heat until they are fully cooked, add salt to taste, turn off the heat and remove from the pot. Take a pancake, roll it in a stir-fry and serve.
