This morning, the Youth League Working Committee of Pinghu Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen organized volunteers, caring businesses and student representatives to carry out greening transformation of the "Little Niba Mountain" next to Pinghu No. 2 Experimental School, and fired the "command gun" of Lumei Pinghu. The volunteers at the scene waved shovels to cultivate soil, carried buckets to water, and planted a total of 26 seedlings such as magnolia and rhododendron, setting off an ecological boom in Lumei Ping Lake.
At the event, the representatives of caring businesses were awarded plaques to thank them for their selfless support for volunteer work. At the same time, flags were awarded to 13 street- and community-level Lumei Pinghu volunteer service teams, and volunteers were encouraged to take measures according to local conditions and comprehensively investigate the potential green space of the "four sides and five sides", and strive to create a sample of Pinghu volunteer service in Lumei Longgang.
It is reported that Pinghu Street will adopt the "Party Building + Grid + Volunteer" model in the future, linking party members, grid members and volunteers, mapping out potential municipal green space planting and greening points, supervising the growth of green space and green plants, and normalizing maintenance work in many aspects and angles.
The relevant person in charge said that this event not only beautified the community environment, but also carried forward the spirit of Lei Feng and enhanced the environmental awareness of residents.
