Tottenham captain renews contract, unwilling to emulate Kane!
The Saudi league has relied on high transfer fees to introduce a large number of superstars, which has increased the attention of the Premier League a lot, and basically achieved the intended purpose. However, it is clear to everyone that Saudi Arabia's football league will definitely not be limited to this, and they will continue to bring in world-class star players in the coming seasons to increase their visibility and influence in the Premier League, and may even surpass some European leagues. The Saudi Football League has selected a list of the most attractive players of the year, several of whom are stars of the Super League.
Saudi Arabia's top targets are Liverpool Mohamed Salah, Manchester City Kevin De Bruyne and Tottenham Son Heung-min. If the two transfer to Saudi Arabia, they will get a contract with an annual salary of 100 million yuan, and Asia's number one star, Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min, will sign Saudi Arabia for 60 million euros. However, according to footballinsider, Son has no intention of moving to Tottenham, with whom he is in talks to negotiate a new contract.
The Saudi club tried to bring in South Korean striker Son Heung-min when the transfer window opened last winter, but Son turned down Tottenham's hefty salary offer and stayed at Tottenham. With Kane's departure, Son Heung-min also became the first Asian player in Tottenham's history, and he was also one of Tottenham's strikers. Saudi Arabia are keen to bring in more players this time, but this does not impress Son Heung-min, who wants to keep his future at Tottenham, even though his next contract is his last in the Europa League.
Son's current contract with Tottenham expires in 2025 and the two clubs have yet to discuss a new contract, but both clubs are confident they can agree a new contract before the end of next season. Son Heung-min is Tottenham's number one striker and despite Kane's absence, he has scored 12 goals and five assists in 22 Premier League games and is Tottenham's top scorer. If he signs a new contract with Tottenham, he will likely sign a three-year contract until 2027, when Son will be 35 years old.
Given the intensity of the Premier League and Tottenham's current squad, it is unlikely that Kane will leave if he wants to win the title, but if he joins Bayern Munich, it will be his first season. But Son Heung-min didn't change his mind because of his decision, and he even turned down the high salary offered by the Saudi club, which was the only thing he could do to meet the demands of Tottenham fans.
