Quite a few people preach everywhere all day long. Their slogan is: I am self-sufficient. I was originally a Buddha. No repair, no license. No matter what I do, my nature does not affect it.
However, in fact, looking at his body, speech, and mind, it really has no connection with the body, speech, and mind of the World-Honored One, and there is no resemblance at all.
It's like a beggar who is very poor materially, and he spends his days begging on the streets. Thirty years have passed.
One day, an old man said to him, "You don't have to come and beg anymore. You can live a life without food and clothing. There is a place in your yard where ten thousand taels are buried underneath. You go back and dig it out and use it. You will be the richest person in the city, and you will be able to live the most decent life. No more begging all day. ”
The beggar listened. Nodding happily. Say, "Okay, okay, I see." ”
However, in the decades that followed, he remained the same. Every day, I still live the life of begging on the streets. One thing is different, he said to people, "I have ten thousand taels, and I am the richest and most decent person in this city." ”
He didn't know that the 10,000 taels ** were in**. He didn't think about how to take those ** out. He didn't even use those ** for a little bit. For the rest of his life, he begged on the streets year after year. And those ** have been buried under the ground in his yard.
You don't know where you're coming from or where you're going. You don't even know where you are. When I meet people all day long, I say, "I am a Buddha." "Body, speech, and mind have nothing to do with the Buddha.
That's right, you are a Buddha, then you have to be a Buddha! A Buddha has no self-grasping, no greed, no hatred, no stupidity. The Buddha has no delusions, no separations, no attachments. The Buddha is a person who walks extensively without self and altruism. The Buddha is compassionate, loving all sentient beings, not bearing the suffering of any sentient beings, and saving all sentient beings from the sea of suffering. However, if you just shout those nice slogans all day long, your body, speech, and mind have nothing to do with the Buddha. That's a far cry from what it was.
