At 14:48 on March 4, it was located in the hinterland of the Taklamakan Desert in XinjiangAfter 279 days of hard work, the drilling depth of the deep Taco 1 well in PetroChina's Tarim Oilfield finally exceeded 10,000 meters, which is currently continuing to advance to the target depth of 11,100 meters. This is also the first well with a vertical depth of more than 10,000 meters in China so far. It not only refreshed the record of the deepest well in Asia, but also set the record for the shortest time to drill a 10,000-meter-deep well in the world.
Located in Shaya County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang, the deep Taco 1 well has a design depth of 11,100 meters, and the main mission of this well is to carry out scientific exploration and ultra-deep oil and gas exploration in the deep part of the earth. After entering the depth of 8,000 meters, the formation was extremely hard, and 15 drill bits were replaced in the well before it was difficult to drill to 10,000 meters.
The deep Taco 1 well will drill through 13 formations in the Tarim Basin from top to bottom, and the 12th formation has been drilled, and the bit is drilling 500 million years old rock. In order to build this 10,000-meter-deep well, the world's first 12,000-meter ultra-deep automatic drilling rig independently developed by China was adopted, and the process technology of 220 degrees Celsius ultra-high temperature drilling fluid and high-temperature anti-high temperature screw was innovatively developed, and a number of key core equipment such as 10,000-meter coring equipment and ultra-high pressure fracturing vehicles were reserved.
Zhao Wenzhi, academician of the Chinese Academy of EngineeringAfter this drilling, we have obtained first-hand information, some assumptions will be affirmed, some assumptions will be modified, and even some assumptions will be changed, which is undoubtedly a very important exploration for the progress and development of China's 10,000-meter deep petroleum geology theory.
Since the drilling of the 10,000-meter-deep well, geologists have sampled rocks at different depths in batches, and completed the description of the geological characteristics of the samples, drawing the first 10,000-meter-deep geological profile map in China.
