The 2023 individual income tax declaration will start on March 1.
Recently, I heard a few friends ask: Why do I have to pay taxes when everyone else can get a tax refund? Then I'll tell you about the precautions for tax refund.
1.Choice of tax refund method
Many companies will issue a year-end bonus, which can be included in the annual comprehensive income tax calculation or separately taxed. The applicable tax rate for separate taxation starts from the lowest bracket, so generally speaking, if the bonus is taxed separately, the tax payable will be lower than that included in the comprehensive income summary tax. Therefore, when you get a tax refund, you can compare the two ways to choose, don't choose blindly I just have to pay more than 500 taxes in the summary tax, and the bonus can be refunded more than 1,000 if the tax is calculated separately.
2.Special additional deductions.
According to the provisions of China's tax law, infant and child care, children's education, continuing education, serious illness medical treatment, housing loan interest, housing rent, and support for the elderly are all eligible for special additional deductions of individual income tax. The special additional deduction means that in addition to the normal special deduction, the additional tax exemption is the part of your income that is tax-free. If there are seven types of situations, remember to declare special deductions.
3.A change in employment may result in additional taxes.
Due to the change of employment, the tax payable by you in the new company will be re-accrued, so the monthly withholding and payment by the company will be lower than the normal part you should pay, which will result in the need to pay back the tax amount when the annual tax is settled.
The above are a few common tax refunds that need to be paid attention to, and UUs who have not yet handled the final settlement should hurry up
