Xia claimed that he had a "way" to help his child apply for the transfer qualification of a prestigious private school across districts, and boasted to him about his past successful cases. Under Xia's introduction, Mr. Wang signed a contract with him and paid 700,000 yuan in advance for Xia's "dotted relationship", and Xia promised to help him complete it within one semester, and if it was not completed, he would be refunded in full.
A few days later, Mr. Xu, a teacher who identified himself as the school, contacted Mr. Wang and instructed the parents and children to prepare the transfer procedures and materials, but when the parents were ready to hand in the materials, Ms. Xu began to delay for various reasons, and the transfer was still hopeless until the spring semester began.
In the end, Mr. Wang proposed to refund the "consulting fee" previously paid in accordance with the content of the contract, but at this time, Xia suddenly lost contact, and Mr. Wang called the police for help.
In the follow-up investigation, it was found that the school text messages and emails received by Mr. Wang could be made public on the Internet, and according to the bank transfer records, the suspect Xia transferred the money to several other strange accounts several times after receiving Mr. Wang's advance payment of 700,000 yuan, which were all parents who had financial disputes with the criminal suspect Xia due to the transfer or enrollment. After arriving at the case, Xia confessed that Mr. Xu, who was connected with his parents, was also played by himself, and the so-called "doorway" and "relationship" were all fabricated by himself out of thin air.
