In order to improve the environmental awareness of kindergarten teachers and students in the jurisdiction and create a good atmosphere for garbage classification, on March 5, the staff of the Municipal Office of Sanyuanli Street, Baiyun District, walked into two kindergartens in the Jier community and conducted a special inspection on the garbage classification work.

During the inspection, the staff inspected the garbage collection facilities in the kindergarten in detail, inquired about the specific implementation of garbage classification, and observed the classification and delivery behavior of teachers and students. They found that kindergartens have established a relatively complete garbage sorting system, but further publicity and education are still needed to ensure the effectiveness of garbage sorting work.

The staff of the municipal office affirmed the garbage classification work of the kindergarten and put forward valuable suggestions. They suggested that kindergartens can hold regular class meetings on the theme of garbage classification, using games, stories and other forms to let children learn garbage classification knowledge and cultivate their environmental protection habits in games. At the same time, the staff also suggested that kindergartens can set up garbage classification demonstration sites, and guide teachers and students to form correct garbage classification habits by demonstrating correct classification methods.

In addition, the staff of the municipal office also had in-depth exchanges with the person in charge of the kindergarten to discuss how to further promote the knowledge of garbage classification and improve the participation of teachers and students in the kindergarten. They stressed that garbage classification is a long-term work that requires the participation of the whole society, especially from the baby, so that children can develop good environmental habits from an early age.

Through this inspection, the garbage classification work of the two kindergartens in the Jier community has been further promoted and improved. The staff of the municipal office said that they will continue to monitor the progress of the kindergarten's garbage sorting work and provide necessary guidance and support. They hope to use the kindergarten as a starting point to spread the concept of garbage sorting to the wider community and jointly create a green and environmentally friendly living atmosphere.
