The following are the relevant regulations on the strength and sharpness test of acupuncture needles in GB 2024-2016 Acupuncture Needles:
b.1 Definitions.
Acupuncture needle tip strength: After the acupuncture needle tip is loaded with external force acting perpendicular to the steel block, there is no hook force.
Acupuncture needle tip sharpness: The force required for the tip of an acupuncture needle to perpendicularly pierce the aluminum foil.
b.2. Technical requirements for acupuncture needle tip strength and sharpness tester.
b.2.1 Acupuncture needle tip strength and sharpness tester are shown in Figure B1 Other devices with the same performance and accuracy (including devices such as measuring amplifiers, data processing and display units, printers, and floppy disks mounted on the devices) can also be used.
b.2.2. The full load, minimum indication value and speed of the instrument should be in accordance with Table B1.
Tip strength test.
Hold the sample acupuncture needle on the needle clamp (the needle tip of the acupuncture needle exposes the needle clamp more than 5mm), and the needle tip acts perpendicularly on the steel block, press b2.2 at the specified speed, loaded to 43. After maintaining the specified force value for 5s and 10s, the load is removed. Then the sample acupuncture needle is observed with a 5x magnifying glass, and the needle tip must not have a hook, or the needle tip is dragged on absorbent cotton without bringing out the fibers.
The nominal specification of the ZR2024-C Acupuncture Needle Toughness Tester is 01~6.5mm (all specifications can be tested), the bending distance is 6 95mm, and the accuracy is 005mm (18 specifications);
