On March 3, the reporter learned from the 60-year development achievements display and digital intelligence green transportation development forum of the CCCC Second Highway Survey and Design Institute that the company has completed the preliminary plan study of the second Yangtze River bridge in Junshan. The bridge is a road-rail dual-purpose bridge, and will start construction before 2025 according to the "Yangtze River Trunk Line Crossing Channel Layout Plan (2020-2035)".
The Second Junshan Yangtze River Bridge is a key project of the reconstruction and expansion project of the Junshan Bridge section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway. The total mileage of the reconstruction and expansion project of the Junshan Bridge Section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway is about 23 kilometers, starting from the Wuhan West Hub Interchange, connecting the Hubei North Section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, crossing the Yangtze River to Jiangxia Jinkou after crossing Caidian and Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone to the south of Jiangxia Jinkou, and passing through the Wuhan-Shenzhen Expressway to the Wuhan South Hub at the end of the Junshan Yangtze River Second Bridge.

This is the first time that CCCG's design consulting sector has won the bid for the design of the road-rail dual-purpose Yangtze River Bridge, and it is also a new breakthrough for us to enter the field of design consulting of 'large-scale railway large-span bridges'. According to the relevant person in charge, the Second Junshan Yangtze River Bridge is the first cross-river bridge jointly built by highways and railways in China. Different from the existing road-rail bridges such as the Yangtze River Bridge and the Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan, the traffic functions of the Yangtze River Bridge and the Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge mainly serve urban roads and railways, while the Junshan Second Yangtze River Bridge has multiple functions such as expressways, urban fast lanes, and freight railways.

As an important part of the "nine vertical, five horizontal and four ring" expressway network in Hubei Province and the southwest ring line of Wuhan railway hub, the Second Junshan Yangtze River Bridge is the main component of the G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and the G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway.
Judging from the existing design, the Second Junshan Yangtze River Bridge is planned to be constructed with two-way 10 and 12-lane standards, and the recommended bridge type is a 460-meter steel box steel truss combined cable-stayed bridge with a main span, which is consistent with the appearance of the Junshan Yangtze River Bridge.
Up to now, Wuhan has built and operated Junshan, Zhuankou, Baishazhou, Yangsigang, Parrot Island, Yangtze River Bridge, Yangtze River Second Bridge, and No. 2.
7. There are a total of 11 Yangtze River bridges in Tianxingzhou, Qingshan and Yangluo. Also under construction are the Shuangliu Yangtze River Bridge and the Hannan River Crossing.
It is understood that CCCC No. 2 Public Institute has successively completed the design of more than 2,000 extra-large bridges such as Hubei Hubei Huangjiang River Bridge and Guizhou Yachi River Bridge, covering four basic bridge types and composite bridge types, including suspension bridges, cable-stayed bridges, arch bridges, and continuous rigid bridges.
