Among the many key sites that empirically prove the origin, formation and development of Chinese civilization, Yinxu is undoubtedly a strong stroke.

I have been yearning for Yinxu for a long time, and this time I want to learn and understand Chinese civilization more deeply, use the past for the present, and provide reference for better building the modern civilization of the Chinese nation. On October 28, 2022, the general secretary of ** pointed out during the inspection of the Yinxu site in Anyang, Henan. Recently, the new Yinxu Museum was opened to the public, let us follow in the footsteps of the general secretary, and together with He Yuling, a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress and a researcher at the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, we can learn about the national treasure of Yinxu and feel why the Chinese civilization has endured.

** The general secretary pointed out during the inspection of the Yinxu ruins, "the oracle bone inscription unearthed in Yinxu preserved the writing of 3,000 years ago for us, and pushed the history of Chinese letters up for about 1,000 years" and "China's Chinese script is very remarkable, and the formation and development of the Chinese nation is inseparable from the maintenance of the Chinese script."

Up to now, more than 160,000 carved oracle bones have been unearthed in Yinxu, and about 4,500 words have been found, about one-third of which have been interpreted.

In recent years, with the empowerment of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and knowledge graphs, China's oracle organization and research is accelerating into the era of artificial intelligence.

Yachang Niuzun is the only cow-shaped bronze vessel found in Yinxu so far. "Ya" is the title of the military attaché, "Chang" is the family name, and the owner of the tomb, Yachang, was the tribal leader of the "Chang" country in the south of the Shang Dynasty.

He Yuling introduced, "Recently, we have cooperated with the team of Northwestern Polytechnical University to conduct research and simulation restoration around the bronze smelting and casting process of Yachang Niuzun. The latest discovery shows that the fracture on the tail of the cow is likely caused by the casting process. He Yuling said that more detailed and in-depth research will continue to be carried out in the future.

According to incomplete statistics, hundreds of carriages have been unearthed in Yinxu so far. With the deepening of archaeological research, the structure of the Shang Dynasty carriage gradually became clear. How many people could sit in the car at that time? How do I drive?

Horse-drawn carriage is an important means of transportation and transportation in the ancient civilization of the world, Yin merchants learned the horse-drawn carriage manufacturing technology, and exerted the spirit of innovation, and scientifically improved it to make it more suitable for the local environment. He Yuling introduced, "This fully reflects the openness, inclusiveness, continuous innovation and integration of the Central Plains Dynasty during the Yin Shang period." ”

Like the horse-drawn carriage, the bronze casting technique also reflects the innovative spirit of the Yin merchants.

He Yuling introduced, "After continuous innovation and breakthroughs in metallurgy in the early and middle of the Xia Dynasty and the Shang Dynasty, the Central Plains cast the 'important weapon of the country' that crowned the times. ”

Gou is new, every day is new, and every day is new". According to the Book of Rites, this nine-character proverb is the inscription of Tang, the founder of the Shang Dynasty. More than 3,000 years later, this sentence still inspires people today.

The context is long, and the ancient is new. The Chinese civilization is a civilization that has evolved and created from history and has been continuously inherited from the past.

As the general secretary pointed out during the inspection of the Yinxu site in Anyang, Henan: "The Chinese civilization has a long history and has never been interrupted, shaping our great nation, and this nation will continue to be great." ”
