Last year, Vince Zampella, the owner of Respawn, said that a "very small" team was in the early stages of the studio developing an original IP. This "secret project" team is led by Steve Fukuda, the producer of Titanfall and Titanfall 2. And in the latest episode of the Game Mess Mornings podcast, Grubb seems to mention the same project, hinting that it has entered a new prototype phase. According to Grubb, the game is indeed a Titanfall game and that it is set in the Titanfall universe, but according to his sources, this is not Titanfall 3.
