As a major part of the opening ceremony, the "Zhu Yizun Research Center" was officially unveiled, and the center was jointly built by Xiuzhou District and Jiaxing University. Tong Jianhua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Liberal Arts and Law of Jiaxing University, served as the director of the center, Zhang Zongyou, a professor of the School of Liberal Arts of Nanjing University, was hired as the director of the academic committee of the center, and Shen Hongmei, director of the Jiaxing City Library, and Chen Rongjun, associate professor of the School of Liberal Arts and Law of Jiaxing University, were hired as members and consultants of the academic committee of the center.

In recent years, with the goal of building an urban cultural brand of "Poetry and Painting Xiuzhou in the Hometown of the Word Sect", Xiuzhou has promoted several major projects such as the creation of brand activities, the construction of the "Hometown of the Word Sect", and the research on Zhu Yizun's celebrity culture, and held activities such as the "Exposing the Book Pavilion Cup" National Song Poetry Competition, Zhu Yizun Cultural Forum, and the "Food Constitution Honggui" Chef King Competition, etc., to further study and interpret the cultural connotation of the value of Zhu Yizun's era, strive to enhance the popularity and influence of Zhu Yizun's celebrity culture, and promote the improvement of the city's cultural soft power.
