Zhang Zongchang, a native of Ye County, Shandong, was born in 1881 and was one of the leaders of the Feng warlords, mainly active in Shandong. In his early years, his family was poor, and when he was a teenager, he made a living by herding cattle and selling alcohol, and his life was difficult.
Later, Shandong suffered a famine, and he had no choice but to flee to find a way out. During his wandering days, he gradually accumulated a wealth of survival experience and interpersonal relationships, which laid the foundation for his later becoming a warlord leader.
Zhang Zongchang was originally very prosperous in the officialdom, and was favored by the handsome Zhang Zuolin and promoted all the way. However, as his status rises, his true nature is gradually revealed, indulging in alcohol, exploiting wealth from the people, and being ruthless to the people, and is known as the "dog meat general".
During this period, he brutally suppressed the workers' general strike for **14 years, which led to Qingdao**. Despite this, Han Fuyu, as a talent with both civil and military skills, studied books in his early years and could write and play.
He broke into Kanto at the age of 19 and has been performing well since then, becoming the formidable "Flying General". He fought under Feng Yuxiang, and after the Central Plains War in 1930, he took over the chairmanship of Shandong Province and began an eight-year reign in Shandong.
After Zhang Zongchang fled to Japan, he never forgot the rule of Shandong, and has been secretly carrying out political activities, wanting to use the power of Japan to fight back in Shandong. However, Zhang Xueliang was worried that he would become a traitor, so he ordered him to be recalled.
At this time, Zhang Zongchang's old superior, Wu Peifu, gave him an idea, persuading him to resist Japan and save the country, convene the old department, and revitalize his strength. Zhang Zongchang agreed, and began to promote his position of resisting Japan and saving the country, trying to drive out Han Fuyu.
Not to be outdone, Han Fuyu also wantonly hunted and killed Communist Party members and innocent people in Shandong, and secretly killed the ** sent by Chiang Kai-shek to supervise him. In the end, in order to consolidate his power, he chose to be calm on the surface, but full of struggle on the inside.
Han Fuyu had long been anti-Chiang, and Chiang Kai-shek was in a difficult situation at home and abroad at this time, and he did not dare to easily move the emperor of Shandong, which was already in a semi-independent state. Han Fuyu found out that Zhang Zongchang wanted to make a comeback, so he decided to get rid of him.
On the surface, he and Zhang Zongchang called him brother and brother, worked together to resist Japan, and also sent many gifts and handwritten letters, but in fact, Han Fuyu was not idle. Because the country is in the midst of internal and external troubles, if Zhang Zongchang is blatantly killed, it cannot be justified in terms of emotion or reason.
Han Fuyu's old club, Feng Yuxiang, reminded him that if he wanted to kill Zhang Zongchang, he didn't have to do it himself, which would cause unnecessary trouble. So Han Fuyu put his mind on Zheng Jicheng.
In the early years, Zhang Zongchang served for Zhang Zuolin for a period of time, but he never returned, Zhang Zuolin was very disappointed in his performance, and Zhang Zongchang killed a deputy commander of Feng Yuxiang's army, that is, Zheng Jicheng's father Zheng Jinsheng.
Han Fuyu contacted Zheng Jicheng, gave him the opportunity to avenge his father, and told him the time and place of Zhang Zongchang's trip. At 6 p.m. on September 3, 1932, Zhang Zongchang was ambushed while boarding a train at Jinan Railway Station.
Battle-hardened, he immediately ran forward and quickly escaped by jumping out of the compartment of the dining car. Zheng Jicheng fought hard to catch up and finally killed Zhang Zongchang at the third platform. Zheng Jicheng immediately surrendered after killing Zhang Zongchang.
The next day, the news of Zhang Zongchang's killing spread, and the whole country was shocked. Zheng Jicheng killed Zhang Zongchang not only out of reasonableness, but also to add glory to the revolution, to increase the glory of the party-state, to eliminate harm for Shandong, and finally to avenge his father.
Zhang Zongchang's notoriety spread far and wide, and after Qingdao **, everyone learned about his brutality. He was unpopular in Shandong, and after his death, the people of Shandong scolded him for his innocent death.
Therefore, after Zhang Zongchang's death, major newspapers and people across the country stood on Zheng Jicheng's side. There was also Chiang Kai-shek's help. His brother Chen Qimei died at the hands of Zhang Zongchang.
This time, Zheng Ji became his revenge.
In 1933, Zheng Jicheng was granted amnesty. The biggest beneficiary of this case is undoubtedly Han Fuyu, who easily eliminated a long-term trouble, isn't he very happy.
However, Han Fuyu's fate was not good. In the confrontation with Chiang Kai-shek, in order to preserve his own strength, he chose to withdraw from Jinan and hand over Shandong to the Japanese army. It is hard to forgive a mistake made in dealing with such a big matter.
In the end, Han Fuyu was ensnared by Chiang Kai-shek. At the meeting where Han Fuyu was tried, Chiang Kai-shek held him responsible for the fall of Shandong. And Han Fuyu directly asked: "Who is responsible for the fall of Shandong?" ”
1.Chiang Kai-shek may have a different opinion on this sentence, but Han Fuyu gave up Shandong because of selfishness. However, in the assassination of Zhang Zongchang, Han Fuyu showed his resourcefulness.
The mountain cannot hold two tigers, and one will always be killed. Some people think that if Han Fuyu and Zhang Zongchang join forces, they may be stronger. But in reality, if Zhang Zongchang rises again, he may use his courage and luck to become famous, gain power and wealth in one fell swoop at a time when the country is in turmoil.
However, once he becomes famous, some may burn and loot, some may do it for the sake of the country and the people, and still others may do both. In any case, in troubled times, it is easiest for people to see their own character.
How can a dog meat general and a soil emperor coexist peacefully in troubled times?
