Multifunctional Photochemical Reactor Manual

Mondo Science Updated on 2024-03-07

The multifunctional photochemical reactor is used to determine the rate and quantum yield of photochemical reactions in liquid phase systems, and is especially suitable for the photochemical synthesis of new materials and chemical products and the photochemical degradation (decomposition) of pollutants. Therefore, it is a necessary instrument for professional experiments and teaching in the fields of chemical engineering, environmental protection, scientific research institutes and colleges and universities. It has the following features and functions:

1.the use of microcomputer technology;

2.It is equipped with two kinds of reactors, rotary and stirred, which can be used separately according to the needs of the experiment;

3 (can control the ventilation volume in each reaction tube;

4 (You can set the working time and the stage prompt time; It has a countdown display, a stage reminder, and the end of the job

After that, automatically cut off the mercury lamp power and other functions;

5.During the working process, the ambient temperature in the box and the temperature of the test liquid (only for stirring type) can be measured, with an accuracy of 05?;

6.When the cooling water is cut off, the instrument has an alarm (30 seconds) and automatically stops to cut off the power supply of the mercury lamp

Function; Second, the structure and working principle

The instrument consists of four parts: the box, the rotary reactor, the stirring reactor and the electrical control part at the bottom of the box

Constitute. 1. a box

Dimensions: 560mm (length), 420mm (width), 1140mm (height).

Weight: 22kg

The cabinet is divided into two parts. The upper part is the experimental box, and the lower part is the electrical control box. The experimental chamber is equipped with an exhaust fan, a temperature sensor probe, a water inlet pipe, a water outlet pipe and an air inlet pipe joint, a hook (hanging a water pipe and a ventilation pipe), a lamp, a reactor socket and other components, and an observation window at the front door. There is an electrical control circuit in the electrical control box, and a control panel in the front.

2. Rotary reactor

The names of each component are shown in Figure 1. The functions of the main components are as follows:

a.Mercury lamp: placed in the quartz cold trap, it can provide a light source, this instrument is equipped with two specifications: 300W and 500W; b.Upper and middle turntables: place quartz test tubes

It rotates with the motor together with the lower turntable

Fixed speed 55 revolutions min), make

The test tube receives light evenly. A total of two

set, quartz of different diameters can be placed

Test tube; c.Turntable adjustment mechanism: adjust the relay

The disc is raised and lowered, thus changing the tube

light range;

d.Filter: Insert into the filter rack to:

Separate out a specific wavelength of light.

The names of each component are shown in Figure 2. The main components of the quartz cold trap temperature probe function as follows:

Reaction flask AMercury lamp: placed in a quartz cold trap, and then the vent clamps the sliding vane.

Put it into the reaction flask, and the function is the same as in Figure 1; Mercury lamp bAdjustment knob: The motor speed can be adjusted to put the pallet up.

Adjust the rotation speed of the magneton in the reaction bottle; Fixed pole power cord.

c.Reaction flask: Place the test solution. Magneton.
