The TV series "Ice Hunting" co-starring Zhang Songwen and Yao Anna came to an end, however, the finale of the show sparked heated discussions among the audience, and some viewers thought that its plot setting was a little far-fetched, and even used the word "unfinished" to describe it. Isn't it a bit sensational?
It is speculated that all this is to cooperate with Yao Anna's role to solve the case as soon as possible.
In the early plot, the intellectual game between Huang Zongwei and Zhao Younan can be described as a climax, Huang Zongwei has cleverly escaped the net of ** many times, and every time he can find a new big drug lord to cooperate, which is impressive.
In the final few episodes, Wong's character behavior seems to have taken a dramatic turn. In the past, Huang Zongwei, who was witty and cunning and good at dealing with ** pursuits, seemed to have been deprived of his wit by the screenwriter, and instead showed an image that was almost impulsive and lacked calm judgment. It turned out that the key factor that prompted Huang Zongwei to return to China was that Ami kidnapped his three children.
As a father who loves his children deeply, Huang Zongwei did not hesitate to risk life and death and made a desperate bet to return to China to rescue his children, which really touched many audiences.
But the arrangement of the follow-up plot began to make the audience feel puzzling and dissatisfied. First of all, Huang Zongwei knew the strength and efficiency of **, especially when Ye Alan was protected by many policemen, why did he choose to take risks alone, instead of using the power of ** to find the child? When Huang Zongwei and Ah Dong found Ami's traces through a series of "coincidences", and then met ** in the safari park later, all this seemed to be too deliberately arranged, reducing the realism and logic of the plot.
What's even more incredible is that Huang Zongwei and his accomplices kept encountering a series of incredible coincidences in the process of escaping after rescuing the child. For example, when they encountered a police car on the road, the gunman's psychological quality collapsed instantly, and the director of the police car was able to intuitively detect abnormalities like Zhao Younan, triggering a fierce shootout. Subsequently, the plot is even more ups and downs, the gunman in Huang Zongwei's team makes an incomprehensible decision at a critical moment, suggesting that Huang Zongwei leave the child and escape alone, but Huang Zongwei insists on taking the child and would rather choose a seemingly hopeless road.
Huang Zongwei refused to let go of the children at the last moment, chose to continue to escape with them, and finally walked into a dead-end village, surrounded by ** groups. In the process, Huang Zongwei showed the greatness of his father's love, but also exposed his decision-making mistakes at critical moments. He had the opportunity to get out and return the child safely to **, and ** would return the child to his mother Ye Alan, but he chose the most unlikely path until the end** and voluntarily surrendered and accepted the trial of the law.
Huang Zongwei's verdict was the death penalty, and the criminal gang of Ah Dong who was with him was completely dismantled, and Ah Dong and other key members Ah Long and Uncle Zhong were also severely punished by the law. Many viewers believe that although such an ending reflects the justice and seriousness of the law, for the character of Huang Zongwei, the image of Zhiyong created in the early stage is in stark contrast to the treatment at the end, overemphasizing the emotional conflict and ignoring the consistent logical continuation of the character's personality, making the whole story seem deliberate and unreasonable in the climax.
In general, although the ending of "Ice Hunting" conveys the values that justice will triumph over the first, there is a situation where the plot design relies too much on coincidences and abrupt turns, especially in the character creation of the protagonist Huang Zongwei, from the original resourcefulness to the final impulsive action, resulting in too much contrast between the front and back, which makes it difficult for some viewers to accept.
Although such an ending has brought a strong emotional impact, from the perspective of plot rigor and character continuity, there is indeed a certain suspicion of "unfinished". If you can maintain emotional tension while taking into account the internal consistency of the characters' behaviors, you may be able to make the ending of the whole drama more satisfying and deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
Huang Hongwei has completed his life's mission, his dream is built on the devil, and a bullet is his destination.
