Yang Jinlong, deputy to the National People's Congress, member of the Youth Working Committee of the Democratic Progressive People's Congress, and deputy dean of the School of Plastic Surgery and Design of Hangzhou Technician College, was born in 1994, and this year is his seventh year as a deputy to the National People's Congress. Over the years, Yang Jinlong has been deeply engaged in professional work, focusing on the development of vocational education, and this year he put forward a proposal on the development of vocational education and deep integration of industry.
The young "post-90s" enjoyed the title of the champion of the automobile painting project of the WorldSkills Competition, but gave up the high-paying employment of the company and returned to school to teach. He said that there is a large gap of skilled personnel in China, and in order to improve China's skill level as a whole, it is necessary to cultivate more outstanding skilled talents. In this regard, being a teacher and passing on one's skills to students without reservation is a greater contribution to society.
From skilled workers to world champions, from vocational college teachers to elected deputies to the National People's Congress. The role change makes Yang Jinlong never forget the responsibility on his shoulders - to speak for China's vocational education cause and speak for front-line skilled talents. Vocational colleges, workshops, repair shops, automobile 4S shops, ......These are the research places he often visits. In his spare time, Yang Jinlong also communicates with his students, colleagues and familiar experts to gain an in-depth understanding of the current situation of vocational education and the cultivation of high-quality skilled talents, as well as the real needs of the enterprise market.
Yang Jinlong believes that compared with general education, vocational education is a "landing" education. "The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China once again clarified the development direction of vocational education, and the word 'occupation' determines its 'root' in the market and its characteristics in the industry. Yang Jinlong said.
At the first meeting of the 14th National People's Congress, Yang Jinlong focused on vocational education to meet the needs of industrial development. He suggested that vocational and technical colleges should closely follow the needs of local industries and enterprises, coordinate the professional setting and construction, and at the same time, should increase the support for vocational colleges, so as to achieve a win-win situation for students, schools, enterprises, and all parties.
Under the appeal and promotion of Yang Jinlong, his hometown, Tonglu County, has successively formulated and issued policies such as the Action Plan for Tonglu County to Build a High-quality "Zhejiang School Craftsman" Golden Business Card" and the "Tonglu County Industrial College Construction Plan", and allocated more than 12 million yuan for the cultivation of skilled talents.
This year, Yang Jinlong still pays attention to the cultivation of high-skilled talents. In his "Suggestions on the Deep Integration of Vocational Education and Industry", he mentioned that he should vigorously promote new talent training models such as commissioned and order-based apprenticeships. At the same time, we will innovate and establish a new model of "co-construction, co-consultation and co-governance" integration of industry and education with the industrial college as the carrier, and build a "school-enterprise community with a shared future" with multi-subject linkage, so as to solve the difficulties of enterprises deeply participating in talent training.
Combined with his own experience, Yang Jinlong believes that the development of young people should first establish a goal in their hearts, "What kind of person do you want to become, whether it is to be a person or to do things, you need to set an ideal for yourself first, and then work hard towards this goal." "In addition, young people must master a core technology. "I often tell my students that as long as they have the technology in their hands, they can develop well no matter where they go or what age they are. Mastering technology is the foundation of making yourself competitive! Yang Jinlong said.
