Zhou Dadianer is located on the south side of the Zhou family cemetery, on the south bank of Donghe Bay. Donghewan originally flowed westward, but after reaching the black soil depression, it was suddenly blocked by the black soil depression of the fourth team, and had to turn around and flow south. Arrived at Wang Fenglin's own place, blocked by Nanshan, and turned to the west, 200 meters later was blocked by Zhou Dadian'er, and then turned to the north, to the Zhou family cemetery under the cliff, was stopped again, turned around and flowed westward, returning to the original flow direction. That is to say, Donghe Bay was blocked 4 times in the black soil depression, Wang Fenglin's self-reserved land, Zhou Dadian'er, Zhou's tomb and cliff, etc., forming a Z-shape. Therefore, although Zhou Dadian'er is on the south side of the Zhou family cemetery, it is located on the west bank of Donghe Bay, on the east side of the second team.

My understanding of Dadianzi is that the terrain is flat, and only weeds or trees grow, and crops cannot be grown. The West Dadianer, South Dadianer, and Zhou Dadianer of the Iron Works all meet this definition. Especially Zhou Dadian'er, it is the representative of Dadian'er, the "wild land".

Before the founding of New China, Zhou Dadian'er belonged to my family. There are also two names for this piece of Dadianer: one is Zhou Dadianer, and the other is Zhou Silly Dadianer. Why?

When I was a child, I heard my grandmother tell me a lot of stories about the Zhou family, including the origin of my father, second brother and my name. At that time, the custom was to call fools easy to support, and all grandmothers called their sons "little fools", and until my grandmother died, she called my father "fools", so of course, others called my father "Zhou fools". When I was a child, those naughty bad boys or old rough mountain people used to shout Zhou fool in front of me, and they thought that shouting was a joke or scolding me, and I did feel insulted, and even cried angrily, and also called their parents' nicknames as a reply.

Later, I asked my grandmother, why is my second brother called "Friday"? Grandma explained that it is easy to feed by calling "five". I asked again, why am I called "Iron Pillar"? Grandma said that it was also for the sake of making a living, because you had an older brother named Lian who died of illness. Later, Wang Yunsheng in the village said: "Name him Tiezhu, so that he can live." So my parents took Wang Yunsheng's suggestion and called me Tiezhu. Until now, some relatives and friends in the iron factory still call me "Brother Zhu". From the aspect of choosing the name, we can see how backward China's medical care was at that time, how insecure life was, and the death of people was a frequent occurrence, especially children.

I have to continue to talk about Zhou Dadian. The ground is full of sand and gravel, and there is a layer of "peeling net" (a low-grade bryophyte) on the ground, some old fried seeds (wattle trees), and a few clusters of wolf tail mounds (white fur), and there is almost no soil, which cannot be used to grow crops at all.

Like Nandadianer, Zhoudadianer is also a place where children are willing to go, first of all, there are no crops there for fear of trampling, and in spring and summer, the bare ground exposes sand, and there are small round pits on the sand, which are thick and thin on the bottom, and are shaped like upside-down tower sugar. In the middle of the pit lurks a mollusk insect called "Lao Dao", which, no matter how hot or dry the weather, silently lurks in the sand at the bottom of the pit, waiting for any unsuspecting other insects that accidentally crawl into the pit. When we saw such a pit, we knew that there must be an old Tao waiting in it, so we grabbed an ant or other insect and put it in the pit, and then we saw that the old Tao quickly attacked, and stretched out two long claws (pincer-like clips) from the sand with lightning speed, clamped the prey, dragged it into the sand, killed and eaten. But usually we don't wait for the "old way" to succeed, when the prey is clamped, we dig out the old way and the ** insect together with our hands to see what is going on. "Lao Dao" is very smart, as long as he is exposed, he will leave his prey behind and escape in a hurry. Often, we catch a handful of old ways at a time.

In summer, not only in Zhou Dadianer to catch the "old way", but on sunny days, you can dig rehmannia in the soil. On rainy days, we will also go there to hunt "buffalo". The larvae of the longhorn beetle (we call it a muga) grow in the trunk of the tree and eat the tree, which is extremely harmful to the growth of the tree, and the adult beetle will fly long distances and can grow on the tree for a long time to reproduce. Buffalo larvae (we call them rehmannia) grow in soil, and in uncultivated soil, that is, on wasteland. The adult buffalo looks like a longhorn beetle, which is larger than the longhorn beetle, and in the summer in August, when it rains out of the soil, the male buffalo can fly, but the female can not fly. After quickly completing the breeding, Sunny Sky died.

Every rainy season, the children and adults of Tiechangbao Village will put on a sack (also with a top pocket) or a piece of plastic, and quickly rush to Zhou Dadian'er, Nandadian'er, Xidadian'er, Nanshanliang and other places to hunt buffaloes. The buffalo is to take home to eat, you can fry it, or you can put it in the stove pit and burn it, it's very fragrant.

If we are lucky enough to see a female buffalo crawling on Dadian'er, there must be one or more male buffaloes next to her, so we can just pick them up and put them in the bucket or jar that we bring with us. If there are no buffaloes on the ground, you should hold kudzu needles or freshly folded wattles or artemisia seeds, patiently observe the air, and once you find a target, quickly attack, shouting: "Hook back!" Hook back! If it's close, we can shoot it down, and if it's far, we'll hold up the thorns and chase after it desperately. Ignoring his feet at all, he was often pierced through the soles of his shoes by thorn stubble, pierced into the soles of his feet, and blood flowed. Regardless of anything, pick up your feet and continue to chase!

Digging old roads, digging rehmannia, and beating buffaloes, this is the activity in Zhou Dadianer and other places in childhood and adolescence, although the material life is not rich, but our outdoor life is full of infinite fun.
