DXOMARK, an overseas evaluation agency, recently announced the image score of the Xiaomi Mi 14, and the big surprise is that the Xiaomi Mi 14 scored only 138 points, ranking 28th among the models tested, and even losing to the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ released 3 years ago.

DXOMARK says that the Xiaomi Mi 14's camera is better suited for landscape images, but it does average when shooting portraits**. In terms of specific scores, **137 points (the highest score is 160 points for the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+); 134 Zoom points (out of 158 for the Huawei P60 Pro); Bokeh 55 (out of 80 for Huawei Mate 60 Pro+); *138 points (out of 158 for Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max); 73 points in preview (out of 91 for the iPhone 14 Pro Max).

In portrait mode, the Xiaomi Mi 14 achieves a score of 134, which is a bit short of its highest score of 149. The low-light score of 114 points is even more noticeable from the highest score of 132 points.

In terms of rankings, the Xiaomi Mi 14 ended up in 28th place with a total score of 138 points, which is lower than many older flagship phones, and even the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+, which was released three years ago, is one point higher than the Xiaomi Mi 14.

In fact, since the cooperation between Xiaomi and Leica, DXOMARK's rating of Xiaomi models has become more and more "ruthless". In DXOMARK's list, the Xiaomi Mi 12s Ultra and Xiaomi Mi 13 Ultra have even lower camera scores than the Mi 11 Ultra. At present, DXOMARK still prefers Huawei mobile phones, and every time Huawei Mate or P series new phones are released, they can basically get the first place on the list.

In addition, DXOMARK also announced that the Xiaomi Mi 14 has a screen score of 133 points, ranking 53rd overall, and an audio score of 135 points, ranking 44th overall. DXOMARK reviews indicate that the Xiaomi Mi 14's display lacks brightness, limiting detail preservation in low-light environments, lacks uniformity and color, and distorts speaker audio at maximum volume**.
