According to relevant data, in January 2024, the sales volume of new energy tractors reached 2,213, a year-on-year increase of 2701%, refreshing the sales of new energy tractors in January in the past five years.
The new energy tractor has handed over a dazzling "report card" at the beginning of the year, which undoubtedly brings great confidence to the entire new energy tractor market. From the perspective of historical development trends, from 2020 to 2024, the sales volume in January of each year will be 20, 34, 1178, 598, and 2213 respectively. It is not difficult to see that in January 2024, the sales of new energy tractors are very bright, which is the highest value in January sales in the past five years. Looking at the monthly performance of new energy tractors in the past five years, the "results" in January 2024 can also rank fourth highest (only lower than December 2023, December 2022 and November 2023).
In terms of the performance of each company, in January 2024, the top 10 companies in terms of new energy tractor sales are XCMG Heavy Truck, Sany Group, Long-range New Energy Commercial Vehicle, JAC, FAW Jiefang, Foton Motor, Dongfeng Company, Shaanxi Automobile Group, China National Heavy Duty Truck, and Yutong Group. Among them, XCMG heavy truck is the only company with sales of more than 400 vehicles, and the sales of Sany Group and long-distance new energy commercial vehicles are more than 200 units, reaching 273 and 222 respectively. Ranked No. 1.

From the perspective of ranking, the competition in the new energy tractor market in January 2024 is fierce, and the positions of various companies are not stable compared with the same period last year. Among them, XCMG heavy truck and Sany Group's ranking positions have been reversed, XCMG heavy truck from the previous second place to the first place, Sany Group fell to the second place. The ranking of long-range new energy commercial vehicles has risen from fourth in the same period to third. In the same period last year, the five companies that were not on the list were JAC, FAW Jiefang, Foton Motor, China National Heavy Duty Truck, and Yutong Group, all of which entered the top 10 and ranked first.
