Recently, the news of the public procurement of a large number of UAVs by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has attracted widespread attention. According to reports, these drones will be used for military purposes, while some of them have even been converted into "battlefield killers". This situation has sparked a discussion about the adverse effects of civilian drones in military applications and their multifaceted nature.

The procurement plan disclosed by the Ukrainian side involves DJI drones, which are widely used on the battlefield between Russia and Ukraine as the world's leading drone manufacturer. Although Chinese companies have banned the sale of drones in Russia and Ukraine, there are still illegal operations and smuggling channels that lead to the use of these drones for military purposes. This situation raises the importance of regulating the use of drones.

However, the use of UAVs as a technological product is not limited to the military field. Civilian UAVs are favored by foreign militaries, police forces and other units because of their superior performance and cost-effectiveness. In addition to the shooting function, the drone can also be used for a variety of purposes such as low-altitude transportation, line patrol, fire fighting, etc. This multifaceted nature makes drones have a wide range of application prospects in all walks of life.

However, it is precisely because of this multifaceted nature that drones also face some challenges and risks. For example, some drones may become "killer weapons" after being modified, and this behavior must be explicitly prohibited and cracked down on by law. At the same time, for the application of drones in the military field, the international community needs more clear and standardized regulatory measures to ensure their legal use and avoid their malicious use.

Hotspot Engine Program Finally, the purpose of a drone depends on its operator. Therefore, for the regulation and management of drones, a package of policies and regulations is needed to ensure their safe, legal and effective use. Only through the joint efforts of the international community can we better balance the relationship between the development and safety of UAVs, so that this technological achievement can serve the progress and development of human society.
