Because this is a stop that I must pass through on my artistic journey. I want to spur myself to keep in mind that the sages of the Eight Monsters of Yangzhou are not for the 'Four Kings' of the old-fashioned, self-contained invisible shackles, but to absorb the essence of art from life, and then create a personal artistic style, out of their own unique artistic road. Moreover, Shi Tao has also created his historical glory in Yangzhou, a treasure of feng shui. Shi Tao's spirit is the soul of the artist. There are also Yuan Jiang and Yuan Yao, masters of boundary painting in Yangzhou, who carried forward the craftsman spirit of Song painting and made outstanding contributions to the inheritance of boundary painting in Yangzhou, a land of outstanding people. Yangzhou, a gripping art treasure, has provided an inexhaustible source of art for artists throughout the ages, so I worship under this holy land and serve the people with self-innovative art. I love Yangzhou! Reporter Wu Juan.
Zhu Junshan in the eyes of the artist].
Zhu Junshan walked from watercolor to ink, giving full play to the characteristics of underwater work, and in the hazy and interesting picture, a sharp and smooth high-pitched line was suddenly inserted, which was very charming. —Wu Guanzhong (famous painter and professor of Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts).
Junshan's paintings have a mysterious and hazy taste, and I look very good. He is an original man of his generation, and his watercolors and landscape paintings are unique. —Wu Zuoren (former chairman of the Chinese Artists Association and former president of the ** Academy of Fine Arts).
Treating art as if it were his life, Zhu Junshan has created a hazy effect of painting from years of practice, which is a great contribution to Chinese painting. —Huang Yongyu (famous painter, professor of ** Academy of Fine Arts).
Zhu Junshan's watercolor painting mastered the effect of water and paper, had his own set of experience, and made a very valuable attempt to explore the national style, so his watercolor painting is neither like British foreign painting, nor is it an imitation of China's predecessor watercolor painting, he has his own original style. His works are beautiful, delicate, fresh and elegant, and some are illusory, hazy and misty, rendering a dream-like mood.
