Ex factory standard for anti corrosion steel pipes used in water conservancy projects

Mondo Social Updated on 2024-03-06

1. Classification and use of anti-corrosion steel pipes

According to the classification of coating materials, anti-corrosion steel pipes can be divided into externally coated polyvinyl chloride (3PE) anti-corrosion steel pipes, externally coated epoxy resin (FBE) anti-corrosion steel pipes, and internally coated epoxy resin anti-corrosion steel pipes. Depending on the place of use and the pressure required, each type of corrosion-resistant steel pipe has its range of application and limitations.

2. Factory standard for anti-corrosion steel pipes

In order to improve the quality of anti-corrosion steel pipes, the state has formulated a series of factory standards. Taking 3PE externally coated PVC anticorrosive steel pipe as an example, its ex-factory standards mainly include the following:

1) Steel pipe quality: steel pipe material selection, manufacturing process, mechanical performance requirements, etc.;

2) 3PE coating: coating thickness, quality, pull-out strength, etc.;

3) Other technical requirements: including interface treatment, coating defect treatment, scratch treatment, etc.

According to these standards, manufacturers should strictly control the quality of each link, and test the anti-corrosion steel pipes produced to ensure the product qualification rate. This can not only meet the material requirements of water conservancy projects, but also provide users with safer and more durable products.

3. Maintenance and maintenance of anti-corrosion steel pipes

Although anti-corrosion steel pipes have good corrosion resistance, they also need regular maintenance and maintenance.

Specific measures include:

1) The storage of anti-corrosion steel pipes should be placed in a dry environment to avoid rain, moisture, etc. The storage period shall not exceed 6 months;

2) During transportation, attention should be paid to handling with care to prevent deformation, scratching, etc.;

3) Use in strict accordance with the instructions for use, avoid high temperature, high corrosion, etc.;

4) Regularly inspect the above links and deal with problems in a timely manner.
