On the east side of the north area of Shijingshan Shougang Park, close to the North Xin'an Station of Metro Line 11, the latest urban renewal project in the park, the new Shougang International Talent Community, is accelerating its construction. The reporter recently visited and learned that this area will be built into a gathering platform suitable for international high-end talents to live and work and a new urban life experience center, which is expected to be officially unveiled this autumn.
In Shougang Park in early spring, you can see office workers in a hurry and citizens and tourists walking and enjoying the scenery. Walking into the construction site on the south side of the second blast furnace south road, the towering chimney and the enclosed design of five buildings come into view.
The area to which the new Shougang International Talent Community project belongs was originally an ironmaking sintering production process area, and sintering belongs to the pre-process of ironmaking. Walking into one of the buildings, the huge sintering machine is quite eye-catching, and the flue, overhead crane and track are preserved in their original flavor, allowing people to travel to the hot production site of the old Shougang era.
Sui Xingtong, director of investment promotion of Shoucheng Rongshi Industry, introduced that the two old factories of Shougang Sintering Plant will be rebuilt on the original site after demolition, and all kinds of industrial relics will be retained to the greatest extent, and it will become an office building integrating office and commerce, which will focus on attracting a new generation of information technology and technology services, smart city industries, information content consumption industries and other high-tech enterprises to settle in, and at the same time introduce commercial formats such as black pearl brands, immersive theaters, and exquisite lifestyle stores.
The new Shougang International Talent Community Project, known as the "Talent Magnetic Field", is a key project of Beijing and one of the first four international talent community pilots approved by the Beijing Talent Work Leading Group. The community is composed of two districts, north and south, and ten plots, and is positioned as a "gathering place for international innovation and exchange of new landmarks for the rejuvenation of the capital in the new era". The two talent apartments have a total of 507 hardcover apartments, providing a hotel-style living experience for the talents of the settled enterprises and attracting the headquarters of medium and high-end enterprises.
