It is said that Zhu Yuanzhang is particularly fond of eating human flesh, and he also connived at his troops to eat people, and he is especially good at eating, and likes to eat children and women. As for the men, they have to use a bamboo brush to hang off the skin, which is called to remove the bitter skin. Let's have a good chat today, is this matter true or false?
At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, the world was in turmoil. There are incidents of cannibalism everywhere, among which children are called and rotten, and they are also called two-legged sheep. The woman is called a sheep without envy, which means that the taste is more delicious than that of a sheep. Men are the most unpalatable, and they are called Tim Chai. Why? Because it can't be cooked. In that turbulent era, cannibalism is indeed not unusual, which dynasty in history has not eaten people, especially the Huangchao at the end of the Tang Dynasty, specializing in human flesh as military food.
According to the record of "Nancun Dropout Record", the soldiers who want to flesh the world are Yin, and the Huaiyou army is addicted to cannibalism, with children as the top, women second, and men second. or sit between two cylinders, and put fire on the outside, or burn on an iron frame. or their hands and feet, first poured with boiling soup, but brushed with a bamboo broom to remove the bitter skin. Or put it in a clip bag and cook it in a huge pot. or drown in an incident. Or the man will stop his legs, and the woman will cut off his breasts, which is so poisonous that it cannot be spoken. The general name is "want meat", which makes people think about it because it is eaten.
And everyone is familiar with Zhu Yuanzhang's self-proclaimed "Yuben Huaiyou cloth", so everyone believes that this Huaiyou army is Zhu Yuanzhang's army, that is, the Ming army, and even the more it is rumored, it becomes the Northern Expeditionary Army after the founding of the Ming Dynasty. So Zhu Yuanzhang is a man-eating demon.
And what does the historical Huai right refer to? Huaiyou refers to Huainan West Road, including Shouzhou, Luzhou, Haozhou, Shuzhou, Hezhou, Qizhou, Huangzhou, and Guangzhou.
Zhu Yuanzhang conquered Jiqing in the 16th year of Zhizheng, that is, in 1356 AD, after which Zhu Yuanzhang's strength gradually increased, and the so-called Huaiyou Land was also included in Zhu Yuanzhang's territory after almost 10 years.
And this Nancun dropout record was written before 1366, which can be confirmed from the fact that the Taizu Taizong referred to in the book refers to the emperor of the Yuan Dynasty. The author spent more than 30 years writing this book, and the full text consists of 30 volumes. And the record of Huaiyou's cannibalism is in the ninth volume, let's say one volume a year, this ninth volume was probably written in 1345, of course, this inference is not rigorous enough, but at least it can be proved that it was written relatively early, and the Huaiyou army at that time was not logically Zhu Yuanzhang's army. It is absolutely inappropriate to put this army on Zhu Yuanzhang's head.
Another strong piece of evidence is the eleventh volume of "Nancun", where the people of Hangzhou suffered, and in December of Zhengjihai winter, the Jinling guerrilla army cut through the pass and broke into the city. The Jinling guerrilla here refers to Zhu Yuanzhang's troops, which can be confirmed from the "Records of Ming Taizu". Volume 7 of "Ming Taizu Records" writes that "(December) Wuchen, the order of the Yuan often encounters Chun Shuai's division to attack Hangzhou", it can be seen that the "Jinling Guerrilla" refers to Zhu Yuanzhang's troops. When the twenty-ninth volume of "Nancun" describes the battle between Zhang Shicheng and Zhu Yuanzhang, it is also mentioned that "the fearful people are specially gathering to celebrate the prosperity of the first army", and this "Jiqing army" also refers to Zhu Yuanzhang's army. Therefore, the Huaiyou army in the book is by no means Zhu Yuanzhang's army.
Another record of cannibalism is that Ye Sheng's "Shuidong Diary" in the Ming Dynasty "The meat soup fat and oil points are all round, but the human meat soup points are not round on half of the side, and the eyes of those who eat man-eating meat are yellow, and their heads are constantly dizzy." Hongwu was in turmoil at the beginning of the year, and everyone could say it, and today the general town is like this. "This tiger and wolf words are too top, I won't translate them. It should be said that many people regard this record as evidence of cannibalism in the early stage of the Ming army. In fact, if you take a closer look, you can find that in fact, the meaning of this passage is that in the early years of Hongwu, after the chaos at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, many people still remember it vividly, and everyone can talk about it, that is, some officers are chatting together, it's as simple as that.
So who are the real cannibalistic troops? In fact, it is the man-eating maniac Zhang Mingjian"Green Army", according to the history of the secretary"Green Army"Before Zhu Yuanzhang surrendered, he broke through Yangzhou City, and only 18 households were left to eat in the entire Yangzhou City, and after Zhu Yuanzhang broke through Yangzhou, he ordered Zhang Mingjian to be escorted to Nanjing to be executed, and later absorbed"Green Army"。So some people put Zhang Mingjian"Green Army"The cannibalism was pressed on Zhu Yuanzhang's head, which was nonsense, and it was people with ulterior motives who smeared the Ming Dynasty.
In addition, if Zhu Yuanzhang really has such a thing as cannibalism, then the pen of the Great Qing Kingdom is not happy and crazy? Originally, the "History of the Ming Dynasty" compiled by the Qing Dynasty, its Spring and Autumn penmanship is already very unique, such a powerful material, if it is true, do you think they will be written in the history of the Ming Dynasty?
