Manjushri, one of the four great bodhisattvas of Chinese Buddhism, is known for his outstanding wisdom and is known as the "Mother of the Three Buddhas" and the "Teacher of the Seven Buddhas".

Holding a sharp sword in his hand symbolizes the fortitude of wisdom. Riding a lion shows the power of wisdom.

Born in Linhai, Taizhou, he is also an incarnation of Manjushri.

At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, Jiejiali was born in Taizhou, a family that inherited the fragrance of books for generations.

This newborn baby is destined to have a legendary life that is different from ordinary people.

Lou Yuanyou, the father of Jieyanli, has been married for many years, but his wife Zhang has not been able to have children.

Eager to have a son, Chang began to embrace Buddhism. On June 15, she came to the Tushi Temple in Taizhou City and prayed to Guanyin Bodhisattva to have a child.

Occasionally, someone carried a statue of Confucian boy Manjushri into the temple, which was innocent and sincere, pure and flawless.

A small novice asked the middle-aged man in the temple curiously: "Tushi Temple has always enshrined Guanyin Bodhisattva, why do you ask you to carve this statue of Manjushri?" ”

The middle-aged man replied, "* came to me more than two months ago and said that the Lord of the Land had a dream and that Manjushri would be born here. ”

He added with disappointment that he had not yet received payment for the materials.

Zhang listened attentively, and there was an impulse in his heart.

She gave the middle-aged man the few pieces of silver she had and the gold hairpin on her head, and then returned home relaxed and happy.

A miracle happened, and from then on, Zhang became pregnant.

On the fourth day of April of the following year, Zhang ushered in a white and pure baby, named "Dunji".

Dunji was dull in his childhood, always skipping school, and even almost ran away with Mr. Teach.

By the age of thirteen or fourteen, Dunji had a soft spot for the Buddhist classic "Chuan Lantern Lu" and couldn't put it down.

As if suddenly enlightened, although he skipped school many times, he was able to easily memorize those unfathomable Confucian classics.

At the age of fifteen, he made clear his ambition to become a monk and pursue enlightenment.

Despite his father's strong opposition, he saw that his son had made up his mind and finally agreed to his decision.

Dunji went to Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou, where Zen Master Huiguang greeted him in front of the mountain gate and guided him to find the heavenly doctor Polito on the flying peak.

Polydo's name is in China and India, and he once saw a doctor for the saint.

The old monk ordained Dunji and gave him the name "Good Ring".

From then on, the young scholar Dunji became a novice and began to follow Polydor in the practice of collecting and boiling medicines.

Three years after becoming a medicine boy, Zen Master Huiguang of Lingyin Temple decided to send the good vows to a more suitable place for practice.

On the way, he met General Yue Fei and found that Yue Fei was suffering from an eye disease, and the root of the disease was a fire in his heart.

Yue Fei's heart was shocked, as a marshal with a strong temperament, he was uncontrollable in anger in the face of the broken mountains and rivers in front of him.

After saying goodbye to Yue Fei, Zen Master Huiguang and Shanjie traveled together, and finally came to Wenshu Temple in Lushan, Henan.

Here, the good vows concentrate on repairing the temple, concentrating on practice, focusing on meditation and meditation, without distractions.

After eight years, the good vows were finally sanctified.

In the tenth year of Shaoxing, the main forces of the Song and Jin dynasties launched an unprecedented decisive battle in the Central Plains.

In meditation, Shanjie witnessed the bloody scene and couldn't help but cry.

After leaving Wenshu Temple, he came to Jinshan Temple, changed his name to Daoyue Zen Master, and met Yue Fei again a year later.

The two old people reunited, and Shanjie said to Yue Fei: "Emperor Gaozong sent you twelve gold medals more than a year ago, and I knew that sooner or later they would remove your military power. ”

Yue Fei smiled bitterly, and persuaded Yue Fei to return to the mountains and forests and participate in meditation.

Yue Fei thanked the good precepts: "Yue's iron bones are strong, his head can be broken, and blood can flow, but no one will be allowed to tarnish my innocence." With that, he turned and walked away.

Shanjie chanted at Yue Fei's back

The end of the year is insufficient, beware of crying; Give two points and poison people. ”

On the twenty-ninth day of the following year, heavy rain suddenly fell in Lin'an, and Yue Fei was poisoned in Dali Temple.

Before he died, Yue Fei remembered the son of the good ring.

The end of the year is not enough", that is, the eve of Chinese New Year's Eve. And "two points" refers to the word "Qin" - Qin Hui**, which poisons people to death.

Hearing that Zen Master Yue was like a god, Qin Hui was frightened into a cold sweat and sent Yang Yizhong to Jinshan Temple to arrest the Zen master.

When Yang Yizhong came to Jinshan Temple, the good precepts had already been seated, and his pulse and heartbeat had already stopped.

Seeing this, Yang Yizhong brushed his sleeves and left.

In reality, the good vows are just meditation and pretending to be dead to escape.

Seven days later, the body of the Good Precepts disappeared inexplicably. No one alive, no dead body, no more news.

Fifteen years later, he was already an old monk in his forties.

In Sanskrit, it means a high monk, and the precept of kung fu to reach home is therefore revered as "precept of Jali".

The apprentices returned to their hometown of Taizhou. As soon as they stepped into Taizhou City, the monks of Tushi Temple were already lined up neatly, holding precepts and clothes, and were warmly welcoming the precepts.

The head of the courtyard said: "Last night, the old monk who has passed away gave a dream to the governor of the temple, saying that the four monks of the good precepts will come today. ”

As a result, Jiejali became the abbot of Tushiyuan.

He taught the monks that Buddhism believes that among all things, human beings are the most precious and spiritual.

There are three peculiarities about human beings. First of all, among all living beings, human memory is the most powerful. Historical experience has been passed down from generation to generation, and transcendence and sublimation have been achieved through continuous removal of the false and the preservation of the true.

Secondly, human beings are constantly striving for upward progress and continuous exploration, and they are pursuing a higher level of spirituality.

Finally, human beings show great perseverance, and the suffering of the sampa world sharpens the human will, so it is easier for human beings to achieve liberation.

With a wave of his hand, the statue of Manjushri Bodhisattva offered by his mother Zhang with a golden hairpin more than 40 years ago is still as vivid as ever.

He does good deeds with compassion and helps others through the world.

There was a scholar named Xie Shenfu who was unable to pay his tuition fees because he lived in poverty. He invited him to study at Tushi Monastery.

The Tibetan scripture building in the temple not only treasures Buddhist classics, but also includes all kinds of classics of Chu Zi Baijia and three religions and nine streams.

Buddhist scriptures are regarded as the crystallization of the highest wisdom of human beings, and wisdom can be developed by studying Buddhism through meditation. When wisdom is turned on, the text flows naturally and smoothly like a flower, and there is no disadvantage.

He also taught Xie Shenfu to adhere to the middle way when reading, and not to be overly nervous for a long time. Maintain a moderate amount of tension and relaxation, persevere, and run in small steps to gather sand into a tower.

Over time, Xie Shenfu became the highly praised prime minister of the Southern Song Dynasty.

Furthermore, his granddaughter Xie Daoqing became the last empress dowager in power in the Southern Song Dynasty.

During Shanjie's tenure at Manjushri Monastery, a general came to ask for help with his daughter Xuan Xuan.

Xuan Xuan has been ill for a long time and her body is weak, although she has taken a lot of medicines, her condition has not improved.

She insisted on staying in the temple, hoping to be brought by the good precepts.

In the face of Xuan Xuan's insistence, Shanjie had no choice but to go up the mountain to collect herbs and boil them into a thick medicinal soup for her to take.

Under the careful conditioning of the good ring, Xuan Xuan's condition gradually improved, and at the same time, she also developed a deep sense of gratitude for the good ring.

Once Xuan Xuan accidentally fell into the water and struggled. Shanjie quickly picked her up, but Xuan Xuan passed out in his arms.

The soaked clothes outlined her graceful figure.

The two get along closely, making Shanjie feel a warm current in his heart.

When night falls, when you meditate, delusions are flying, and your soul is difficult to settle.

Just when he was about to fall into the abyss, the Manjushri Sword in his heart suddenly emitted a bright sword light, cutting off the demon of ** and making him sober up instantly.

From then on, he became completely enlightened.

After staying in the Tushi Hospital, he met a woman named Zhou Qiniang.

Zhou Qiniang ranked seventh, and when she was born, auspicious clouds rose in the sky, and strange birds flew in the air.

When she grew up, she refused to get married, was unkempt all day, and slept under the Puji Bridge at night.

Life is uninhibited, and he often mutters some incomprehensible slips of the tongue.

After retiring from the Tushi Academy, his temperament changed greatly, he let go of the rules and precepts, indulged in meat and wine, and frolicked with the crazy Zhou Qiniang in the market.

They held hands and sang together: "Crazy monk and crazy woman, eat and drink." ”

One day, the two of them pass by a shrimp stall, and Jiejali proposes to buy all the shrimp.

So, he and Zhou Qiniang wiped out all the pots of cooked shrimp.

However, the two were penniless, and the stall owner was furious: "Bald donkey, eat my shrimp, and don't even pay." No, you have to spit out my shrimp. ”

Jieyan Li spread his hands: "The shrimp has entered the stomach, how can you vomit it?" ”

The stall owner was furious: "If you eat it, spit it out for me!" ”

Jie Yanli laughed when he heard this, and he really opened his mouth, and actually began to spit out live shrimp. And Zhou Qiniang also began to spit out live shrimp.

The onlookers were stunned, and the two held hands and laughed and left.

On his deathbed, he made all the arrangements.

One day, the precepts of the Buddha manifested great powers, and everyone saw the light above his head, revealing the figures of the seven Buddhas of the past.

He said to everyone, "The old monk's fate has come to an end, and I bid farewell to you today. With that, he passed away peacefully.

After the death of Jieli Li, Zhou Qiniang also passed away peacefully under the Puji Bridge.

earthly dust, conform to karma; Pure and flashy, the immortal is gone.

Seven days later, a strange monk appeared on the streets of Taizhou, singing as he walked: "Precept Master Manjushri, Zhou Po Puxian, hand in hand as you like, spread for thousands of years." ”

At this time, people suddenly realized that the precepts of Jali and Zhou Qiniang were the incarnations of Manjushri Bodhisattva and Puxian Bodhisattva. List of high-quality authors
