Veterinary Medicine Examination College: Huazhong Agricultural University, Huazhong Agricultural University 211 Agricultural Professional School, with small self-examination undergraduate veterinary medicine majors, and extra points for general practice.

One of the starting points of higher agricultural education in China. The predecessor of the school was the Hubei Agricultural School founded in 1898 by Zhang Zhidong, the governor of Huguang, during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. After several evolutions, in 1952, all the departments of the College of Agriculture of Wuhan University and Hubei Agricultural College, as well as some departments of the College of Agriculture of six comprehensive universities including Sun Yat-sen University, were established to form Huazhong Agricultural College. In 1979, it was approved as a national key university and directly under the Ministry of Agriculture. In 1985, it was renamed Huazhong Agricultural University. In 2000, it was transferred from the Ministry of Agriculture to the Ministry of Education. In 2005, it entered the ranks of the national "211 Project". In 2017, it was included in the national "double first-class" construction ranks.
