Exactly three years after its launch, Hyundai Motor unveiled the facelifted IONIQ 5 in South Korea. The biggest changes for the 2025 Ioniq 5 are the larger battery pack and the addition of a new N Line model.

Bigger battery, more range

The current IONIQ 5 is equipped with a capacity of 774 kWh battery pack, **ioniq 5 will be paired with 840 kWh battery pack, so the range will also be greater, and the rear-wheel drive version has been expanded from 487 km to about 525 km; The range of the all-wheel drive dual-motor version has been increased from 410 km to 451 km.

Cosmetic updates

The front and rear bumpers have been updated, as well as a larger rear spoiler and new wheels, the biggest big change: the addition of rear windshield wipers, which is not available on the current Ioniq 5, tends to accumulate dirt easily and cannot be easily removed.

Interior upgrades

The steering wheel features the same new steering wheel as the IONIQ 6 with "interactive pixel lights", new buttons have been added to the center console, the climate control buttons and infotainment buttons have been reorganized, the "Map" and "Navigation" buttons have been merged into one, new buttons have also been set for heated seats and other controls, wireless phone charging has been repositioned to a more convenient place, and the rear seats now have a remote folding function. In addition, more soundproofing materials have been added, which are designed to calm the noise of the rear motor.

The new N Line model

In order to bridge the gap between the standard Ioniq 5 and the high-performance Ioniq 5 N, the N Line trim class model has been added. The model has a unique bumper design, body kit, and 20-inch wheels that give it a more aggressive look. Inside, it has a different steering wheel, sports seats, sportier pedals, red stitching all over the place.
