Winter goes to spring, Vientiane is renewed, and when you walk into the morel mushroom planting greenhouse in Baba Village, the morel mushrooms with lovely shapes are vying to break the ground, holding up a brown "small umbrella", full of vitality. Workers are holding knives and shuttling between the fungus ridges, selecting and packing boxes, their faces full of joy of harvest.
Morel mushrooms were planted in October last year, there are more than 50 acres, this year's growth is very good, there is no problem with the yield of 300 kilograms per mu, and recently morel mushrooms are also good, our morels are sent to all parts of the country, and the income is still very considerable. Grower Zhao Guangkui said.
Morel mushroom is a low-temperature variety, the altitude and climate to be supplemented are very suitable for growing morels, and morels belong to the "winter planting and spring harvest" fungus varieties, after the morel mushroom harvest, we can also grow some seasonal vegetables. Growers Zhao Guangkui and Zhang Jing said.
Due to the high requirements of the growth environment of morels, labor is needed in all aspects of breeding, planting, management, harvesting, etc., and the planting base can provide more than 50 jobs to promote the income of the surrounding people.
In recent years, the town to be supplemented has given full play to its resource advantages, continued to promote the adjustment of the agricultural industry structure, developed morel mushrooms and other characteristic plantings, further broadened the channels for increasing the income of the masses, expanded and developed characteristic planting, and helped rural revitalization.
