On the afternoon of March 3, the memorial hall of the early Beijing revolutionary activities of the Communist Party of China wafted out the fragrance of books: the commemorative edition of the "Qingshan Baolin" reproduction commemorative edition reading activity was being held, and the three generations of the old, middle and young gathered in the Red House of Peking University to talk about their reading memories of red classics.
"Qingshan Baolin" refers to the four works of "Song of Youth", "Great Changes in the Mountains and Towns", "Defending Yan'an" and "Lin Hai Snow Plain". Wang Meng, a people's artist and winner of the 9th Mao Dun Literature Award, said that the most fundamental reason why these works have become classics is the revolutionary spirit behind the works. Li Hongqiang, editor-in-chief of the People's Literature Publishing House, said that when writers of that generation created, they did not simply create a literary work, but hoped to find their own path and find their ideal destination through their works.
I read these four books when I was in junior high school. Zhou Daxin, the winner of the 7th Mao Dun Literature Award, recalled that these books gave him "the earliest spiritual food". Later, his choice to become a soldier was also influenced by the two books "Defending Yan'an" and "Lin Hai Xueyuan". Zhou Xiaohui, a young teacher at the School of Journalism of the Chinese People's University, also has a reading experience related to the experience of being a soldier: during his undergraduate studies, he joined the army, and when he wanted to pick up a pen to describe the life of the army, he found that "Lin Hai Xueyuan" had already written similar scenes thoroughly, "Although these works are not my youth memories, they are integrated into my current life." ”
Yang Jiayi, director of the Memorial Hall of the Early Beijing Revolutionary Activities of the Communist Party of China, said that in the history of Chinese literature, the literary revolution in the New Culture Movement is a great change of epoch-making significance. The Red House of Peking University has a very unique significance in the history of modern Chinese literature. He introduced that previously, the museum had launched special brand activities such as "Peking University Red House Reading Club" and "Peking University Red House Lecture Hall", with a total of more than 50 million views on the whole network; In cooperation with Beijing Publishing Group, he edited the series of books "Listening to Lectures in the Red Mansion of Peking University". In the future, the museum will continue to adhere to the principle of "establishing an academic museum and revitalizing the museum through social education", continuously strengthen exchanges and contacts with universities and scientific research institutes in Beijing, and actively explore the modes of museum-school cooperation and inter-library cooperation. Carry out academic research on the history, figures, archival documents and related sites of the early revolutionary activities of the Communist Party of China in Beijing, hold richer social and educational activities, and produce more academic achievements.
