Auricular acupoints are some specific areas distributed on the pinna, when the human body has a disease, there are often tenderness sensitive points, discoloration and other reactions in the corresponding parts of the auricle. At this time, the shape and color of the ear can be observed to assist in the diagnosis of diseases, and the stimulation of ear acupuncture points can prevent and treat diseases.
The main principles of acupuncture selection are as follows:
1) Select acupoints according to the corresponding parts of the disease: such as gastric acupoints for gastric diseases, shoulder acupoints for shoulder pain, throat acupoints for sore throat, appendicitis and so on.
