When the steam pressure reducing valve leaves the factory, the adjusting spring is in a relaxed state, at this time the main valve disc and the auxiliary valve disc are in a closed state, when in use, turn the adjusting screw clockwise, compress the adjusting spring, and the spring seat pushes the diaphragm to move downward, overcome the resistance of the auxiliary valve disc spring to open the secondary valve disc, and the medium controls the air path in front of the valve, passes through the auxiliary valve disc, and enters the air cavity above the piston to form a certain pressure. The piston moves downward under the action of medium pressure, overcomes the friction resistance of the piston ring and the cylinder wall, the compression elasticity of the main valve disc spring, and the pressure of the medium on the main valve disc pushes the main valve disc away from the main valve seat, so that the medium flows to the outlet, and part of the medium behind the valve enters the air cavity below the diaphragm through the valve control gas path, and forms an upward thrust on the diaphragm, when the pressure behind the valve rises to a certain extent, this thrust is balanced with the pre-adjusted spring force, the opening degree of the valve is determined, and the medium flows to the valve after throttling to form a certain pressure.
