How the cooler works
Coolers can be divided into air coolers, oil coolers, and water coolers. Whether it's air-cooled, oil-cooled, or water-cooled, the working principle is the same.
Hydraulic oil cooler products are mainly used in the circuit of the hydraulic system. When working, the high-temperature oil in the hydraulic system flows through the hydraulic oil cooler device, and the forced cold air is efficiently exchanged in the heat exchanger, so that the oil temperature is reduced to the working temperature to ensure that the main engine can continue to operate normally, so that the work can be carried out smoothly.
The coolers selected in the general hydraulic engineering include detachable plate coolers, brazed coolers, and shell-and-tube coolers, which are all designed to cool down the oil that heats up due to work in the hydraulic process, so that the hydraulic oil can always be kept within a certain temperature range, so as not to affect the work of the machinery, so that the work efficiency is more rapid and fast.
The general cooler is through oil and cold water heat exchange, so that the cold and heat exchange to achieve the effect of cooling, and some use cold air as the cold medium, different hydraulic oil work fields have different options, but are according to the principle of heat exchange to achieve the purpose of cooling.
The advantages of the oil cooler in the application process can be said to be more, mainly because it uses the pipeline generated by the metal sheet to carry out the medium heat transfer, the heat exchange efficiency is more than 3 times higher than the traditional heat exchange equipment, and the area is small, and the space occupied is only one-third of the pipeline. The detachable nature allows it to be opened for cleaning even in the event of a blockage. Reliable and durable, with a long service life and economical long-term application.
Its shortcomings are manifested in two aspects: First, the pressure resistance is not high. The oil cooler can not handle much of the working pressure, but it can still handle it in most situations. Second, the temperature resistance of this heat exchange equipment is not too high, and the temperature cannot exceed 200 degrees.
The fins of air-cooled coolers are easily covered with dust, which affects the cooling effect. If the exhaust temperature is too high, it will cause the machine to run. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the cleaning of the cooler in maintenance. When it is clogged, it must be cleaned with a special liquid immersion method to achieve the real effect of removing impurities.
No matter which cooler you choose, you should choose according to your actual situation.
