When shooting Christmas-themed photos, the 4-wire to 8-line adjustable starlight mirror is also a sharp weapon. It can turn the small LED lights and other point light sources on the Christmas tree into stars to decorate the picture and people. What surprised me the most was that the small diamonds and sequins on the model's body also had the effect of starry, which really put the galaxy on the body.
At the same time, because the 4-line to 8-line adjustable starlight mirror is composed of two starlight mirrors, its imaging has a slightly white and soft effect, while forming the starlight, it also slightly softens the picture, brightens the dark part, reduces the contrast of the whole picture, and forms a dreamy and hazy atmosphere with the effect of the starlight, and at the same time has a stunning surprise. Reducing the sharpness of the picture only slightly is acceptable in my opinion.
03 Starlight mirror shooting tips
Due to the characteristics of the starlight mirror, when using the starlight mirror, we need to find a point light source that is as bright as possible, and the darker the background, the better.
Avoid direct sunlight from large areas of bright light, which will reduce the effect of the starlight.
Let the model dress with reflective sequins or small diamonds, or wear jewelry, and there will be a sparkling dreamy feeling.
In post-processing, we can use the mask to select the background, properly darken, and then increase the brightness of the highlight area, reduce the overall brightness, and finally properly brighten the shadow area to avoid dead black, and at the same time you can adjust the contrast and HSL hue of **, which can make the effect of the starlight mirror more obvious, and the overall atmosphere is more dreamy and beautiful, not obtrusive.
